What's New in Zoho Inventory - December 2016
Here's the list of new features & updates in Zoho Inventory to help you make the best out of this holiday season. Take a look, try it out and share your feedback.
Introducing warehouse report.
The 'warehouse report' under the Reports module gives you an instant visibility into your stock levels and provides detailed information on stock movements of your items in all your warehouses in one single report. You can also view the stock levels based on both the inventory tracking modes. I.e 'invoices & bills' and 'shipments & receives'.
Composite items for composite items.
You could create composite items by bundling two or more of your products into one kit and sell them at a different price. Earlier this option was available for only individual items. Now, you can bundle your composite items as well. For example, there are two composite items with one consisting of stationery items and another one consisting of school supplies like bags, books, and labels. Now, you can bundle these two composite items and sell it as 'back to school' kit at a different price. You can also create composite items with a mix of composite and individual items as well.
Add services to your Item list.
Now, you can also create an item as a service in Zoho Inventory. If you sell services like software or digital products, or if you want to add any service charges such as maintenance charges, delivery charges to your sales order or invoice, you can now create such service charges as a service item and easily add that to your billing!
Non-inventory item sync with Shopify.
With Zoho Inventory and Shopify integration, you can now sync your items for which you do not track inventory or sell on a commission basis, as a non-inventory item. You also get instant notifications, whenever such non-inventory items sync happens between Shopify and Zoho Inventory.
Import/Export option for inventory adjustments.
Inventory adjustments option lets you adjust the stock of your items for any mismatches that might occur while stock recounting/ reconciliation. Such adjustments can be done based on value as well as quantity. Now, you can also import such adjustments to make changes in bulk or export the list of such adjustments made, as a report.
That's all for this month!
