We are excited to share the latest updates and enhancements made to Zoho Billing in August 2025 to improve your overall billing management experience. Keep reading to learn more.
Notify Customers About Subscriptions via WhatsApp Business
If you have integrated your organization with WhatsApp Business, you can now notify your customers about their subscriptions' real-time updates. The following notifications are supported:
- Subscription Creation - The customer will be notified immediately when a new subscription is created.
- Upcoming Renewal Reminder - The customer will receive a reminder about subscription renewal five days before the subscription is set to renew.
- Subscription Renewal - The customer will be notified instantly when their subscription is renewed, along with details, such as the next renewal date and subscription total.
- Upcoming Expiry Alert - The customer will be notified three days before their subscription is about to expire.
- Subscription Expiry - The customer will be notified instantly when their subscription is expired.
- Upcoming Subscription Cancellation - The customer will be notified three days before their scheduled subscription cancellation.
- Subscription Cancellation - The customer will be notified instantly when their subscription is cancelled.
Scan Items in Invoices
Zoho Billing now supports scanning items using your items' barcodes or QR codes and adding them seamlessly to the invoice. This is particularly useful if your organization sells multiple products and you want to offer a faster invoicing experience to your customers.
Note: You need a device such as, barcode scanner, to scan QR codes and barcodes.
