What's New in Zoho Inventory - July 2023

As we step into the second half of the year, we are back with another set of updates that will make your inventory management a breeze! Let's take a quick look at what's new this July.
New Allocation Methods for Landed Cost
Introducing two new allocation methods in landed cost: Weight and Dimensions. The items with the largest size or the heaviest weight will be allocated the highest landed cost. If the weight or dimension of an item is zero, the cost allocated will be set to zero. However, you can update the landed costs manually as well, if necessary. You can also choose to allocate landed costs to all items or selected items.
New Regional Languages [India & Global]
We've introduced 5 new regional languages in the India and Global edition of Zoho Inventory: Tamil, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, and Gujarati. Once you've changed the language in Organisation Profile, you'll have to change the font in the templates as well for the changes to be reflected across the app.
The fonts you need to select for each language are as follows:
Gujarati - Hind Vadodara
Hindi - Hind
Kannada - RTL
Marathi - Hind
Tamil - Hind Madurai
Telugu - RTL
To change the language in your organization, go to Settings > Organization Profile. Click the Language dropdown and select your required language.
e-Way Bill for Bill of Supply
You can now create e-way bills for bills of supply. It can be created by clicking Add e-Way Bill Details if the amount is greater than 50,000 rupees or by selecting the bill of supply entry in the e-way bill module using the filter Transaction Type as Invoices.
