As promised, we are back again this month with a new set of features and improvements for Zoho Inventory. We continuously look to evolve and bring in additional features which not only enhances the product but also ensures a smooth user experience from time to time. That being said, let's take a look at what we have for you this February:

1. Raise Self-Billed Invoices

Following the VAT regulations, the self-billed invoice feature is now available for the UAE and KSA edition users. The self-billed invoice feature allows you to raise a bill to yourself on behalf of your suppliers for the purchases you've made from them. It is the same as creating a regular bill and will be categorized under the Bills module. Read more.

2. Sales by Salesperson Report

We've introduced the sales by salesperson report for your sales analytics. In this report, you can have a quick glance at the sales done by different salespersons in your organization, including the total number of invoices and sales made by each one of them.

4. Merge Sales Orders

If you receive two or more sales orders from a single customer, you can combine its details into a single document. By doing so, you'll be packing, shipping and invoicing one sales order instead of two.

In the sales order page, you can select any two sales orders in the open status from the same customer and merge them. Once you do so, you will have all the details of one sales order combined with the other. Read more.

5. Disable Marketplace Stock Update

You now have the option to disable stock updates to integrated sales channels from Zoho Inventory. This allows you maintain different stock levels in your sales channels and Zoho Inventory.

Disabling the stock update is specific to each sales channel, i.e. disabling the stock update to Shopify will not affect the stock updates to Etsy. Any operation that previously caused the stock update to trigger, such as - changing the opening stock, item adjustments, etc., will no longer cause a stock update to the sales channel when you disable it. 6. Re-arrange the Order of Custom Fields
