What's New in Zoho Inventory - May 2023

Hello customers!

We've compiled a list of some of the major updates that were made to Zoho Inventory this April. Let's take a look at what's new this month:

Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS)

We've added support for Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) in Zoho Inventory. With this, you can access Zoho Inventory's APIs from a different domain and use the data fetched in your own domain.

For example, if you want to have the stock information of your items in your domain, you can use CORS to directly fetch the data from Zoho Inventory using APIs.

Override tax amount in purchase transactions

You can now override the default tax amount calculated by Zoho Inventory in your purchase transactions.

To enable this option, go to Settings > Taxes > Tax Settings and check the option "Enable tax override for purchase transactions."

Overwrite custom rates for items while importing price lists

We've added an option that lets you overwrite the custom rates of specific items in a price list based on the items in the import file.

Android app updates

  • Create sales receipts from the new Sales Receipts module.
  • Added support for TDS in sales transactions for customers using the India edition of Zoho Inventory.
  • You can customize the payment numbers and the TDS amount in Payments Made.
  • Added support for Reporting Tags in the Inventory Adjustments module.
  • Made a few bug fixes.

Design changes made to Zoho Inventory

We've revamped the transaction details page for the following modules:
  • Purchase Orders
  • Purchase Receives
  • Transfer Orders
