Word doc

I have a word doc that is basically just a collection of links to hotels all over america. When I import this list, it opens and looks OK, but when I try to click on any of the links, it spikes my CPU usage, slowing the browser down to a crawl. This renders this document virtually useless, as I need to access this document while on the phone with customers and need to be able to click/surf on the fly.

Any suggestions? If you can fix this issue, I'll become a huge advocate of this product!
