Workflow based on attachment categories

Is there a way to trigger a workflow based on certain attachments being present? e.g. In the Candidates module, if 3 attachments are present with categories of "Report", "Survey" and "Resume" then an alert will be sent (or a task created). I can only see criteria of "is attachment present" with a true / false response. Thank you.
