Workflow on Candidates and Job Positions

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a workflow rule to notify by email:
  1. All candidates in status "New"
  2. Only when the "Job Position" they are assigned is in status "In-Progress".
Is there a way to use data from two "Modules" in a Workflow? Job Positions and Candidates for example.
