Zoho Analytics Jotform Data Integration

Zoho Analytics Jotform Data Integration

Hi,

I find this newly released tool to be a little bit frustrating.

I have a multi option answer field in Jotform. It allows users to pick multiple answers (up to 40) to the question.

When this goes into Jotform, they are semi-colon separated (as expected) HOWEVER, even when the column is set to be 'multi line text', the data from Jotform is being cutoff automatically at 255 characters.

This is super frustrating, given that other 'multi line text' from my Jotform submission goes in, and is WELL ABOVE 255 characters.

Why specifically does this happen?

I have:

1. Setup and authenticated the initial fetch. This brings over my entire table of ~500 rows from Jotform (an enterprise account btw), happens within 10 minutes.
2. Change data types in columns on Zoho Analytics table - this needs to happen as by default, they arent right. Additionally, no option for data prep exists like for other data source integrations. Im really only changing some 'text' to 'multi line text', so my data does not get cut in half.
3. Once these column data types are changed, I re-sync the Jotform table to Zoho. I do this because, clearly, a lot of data is missing if it goes in as 'text'.
4. On inspecting the fields I have changed, ONLY multi-choice fields are being cut off. I even have configurable-lists which were originally 'text' in Zoho, now importing successfully - far beyond this 255 character limit seemingly imposed only for 'multi-choice' fields from Jotform.

I have now fixed this so all the data goes in to one workspace - however that has broken the import and i can no longer fetch records from Jotform (it just gives a generic error and invites me to hit 'retry', this will NOT work, even when using the exact same auth and API key to another instance, which is working). Im assuming, this is data type mis-match. FYI in this table, the multi-choice options are well past 255 characters ( i have one entry with 408).

So now i can either use a working table with cut-off data, or a non-working table with all data.

Super frustrating and I have a feeling this is not working as intended!

The fact that I can only do one full fetch per day is also slowing this project down to a snail's pace, right before XMAS.
If i need to change something, I have to wait a day to see changes reflected in Zoho?

My guess is that if I were allowed to full fetch, it would isntantly break due to my changing the data type of the columns - correct?

If that is the answer, you absolutely need to allow users to prep data on first import, otherwise I'd say this function is 100% broken, or only works for very simple form submissions.
