Zoho Campaigns API endpoint for contact details

Zoho Campaigns API endpoint for contact details

there is some REST API support for Zoho Campaigns, however, I am not able to find an endpoint for "get contact details". 

in particular, I'd like to access contact's subscription status and also their topic. ideally there is all profile available including all fields in a secure API response.

in v1.1 there is an endpoint for fetching a list of contacts (from a List): https://www.zoho.com/campaigns/help/developers/get-list-subscribers.html
and I can also subscribe or unsubscribe a particular contact (email address): https://www.zoho.com/campaigns/help/developers/contact-subscribe.html

there seems to be no way of fetching a read only object in a GET operation so I can easily read users' overall subscription status and their topics.

my use case is that I have custom HTML forms with custom backend that are integrated via REST/OAuth for subscription management. I do not want to use Zoho's JavaScript widgets and forms.

any ideas please? perhaps there are some undocumented APIs that I haven't been able to find in current docs: https://www.zoho.com/campaigns/help/developers/
