Zoho Creator - [Free Webinar] Creator Tech Connect - Technical Series - Session 4

Hello Everyone!

In the past few months we conducted extensive sessions on Deluge inbuilt functions and Canvas builder as a technical series in Creator's Tech Connect.

Its incredibly important for a developer to understand the functions, syntax and most importantly a developer should know when and where appropriately these functions should be used while building a solution in Creator. Hence we envisaged the idea of conducting sessions substantially on built-in functions.

Join us to explore the power of Deluge's extensive library and learn how to leverage deluge built-in functions for enhanced functionality and scalability in your applications.

Please refer to the course plan and recording links to have a recap on the completed sessions.
  • Session 1 - Collection and Conversion Functions (Completed) - Recording link
  • Session 2 - List Variables, List - Add and Append Choices, List - Add to picklist (Completed) - Recording link
  • Session 3 - Canvas Builder(Completed) - Recording link
  • Session 4 - Map Functions, Utilities and Blueprint deluge task
  • Session 5 - Zoho Creator Page Scripts and Variables
  • Session 6 - Cloud Functions

What should you expect during this session?

In this session, we will be covering the Map functions, Utilities and the Blueprint Deluge task functions to handle various use case scenarios and problem statements while building custom solutions in Zoho Creator.

Get a glimpse of what these functions are about. Lets delve deep into these topics during our session.

Map functions

Map function in deluge is used in various scenarios to manipulate, transform, process and analyze data in list or arrays making it a useful function while customizing an application in Zoho Creator.

Utilities (urlEncode and getJSON)

URLs can contain special characters, such as spaces, question marks, and ampersands, which can cause issues when passed as parameters. This is when encoding and decoding come into play.

The getJSON function retrieves values from a JSON formatted text or a key-value collection. Both urlEncode and getJSON can be vital while integrating your solution with a third party application.

Blueprint deluge tasks

There are instances where you want to change the stage and transitions for records added through Deluge. Blueprint deluge task helps achieve it.
