Zoho CRM Outbound Mail Servers with G-Suite Integration

We have G-Suite integrated with Zoho CRM, therefore emails are sent from our users will use Gmail's outbound mail.
  1. Will workflow emails and mass emails use the Zoho CRM email server?
  2. Are there any other instances where Zoho CRM email server will be used instead of Gmail?
Our subscription is Zoho One.
