I was wondering we have this costumer that is doing recycling of old items and will probably lend an item and take it back after it been use.

I was wondering if with Zoho inventory we could achieve this. What I was thinking is assign these items with a serial number so we could track it, but I would also need a field that keep track of how many times it was landed and came back.

So, would I need to make a custom field and some sort of custom function that when an item is enter in stock to add +1 to that field?

If you guy’s have idea or suggestion to guide me in the right way, I would love to hear them.

Il gives you a run down of a scenario.

We have this desk with serial 13552984 it’s being lease to this acting company for 12 shows after they will bring it back. I guess we would add it back to the inventory with the serial. Now that item with the serial should say it was lease once. Now if another company lease it for 5 shows when they bring it back it should show 2 now for the amount of time it was lease.
