Zoho Recruit- Mass Update Candidate Status - Bulk Import

Hello, 

When we set up our process we relied heavily on Application Status to be updated through our pipeline. However that has become quite limiting as I cannot use Application Status with Campaigns or Marketing Automation. I have tried to write my first ever custom function - but honestly it is a little complicated. 

What I have landed on is actually adding Tags to my Candidates base don the Application Status. So I do not have to go one by one, can I bulk update records to Tags based on an upload? This way I can download my Applications, and then upload them to the Candidates file, update to add the appropriate tag. THEN I have a reference. Going foward we will then use this process for Candidates - manually, as their applications are uploaded.
