Zoho Sign: Product Updates - Year-end, 2020
Hello!
The end of 2020 is finally here. As we look back, this year has undoubtedly been a challenging ordeal for both businesses and households. We hope that you and your loved ones are in good health and that this holiday season brings you nothing but cheer.
At Zoho Sign, our team was called upon by the prevailing circumstances to respond to tens of thousands of businesses transitioning to contactless digital signing overnight. And respond we did, albeit remotely, as we worked round the clock ramping up development and support activities to help our users get their paperwork signed online.
The upcoming months appear to promise a return to normalcy but it is safe to say that changes like the adoption of digital signatures are here to stay for good. Before we set foot in 2021, let me take a few minutes to outline all the updates from Zoho Sign's journey in the second half of 2020.

New signer stamp field
The new Stamp signer field allows signers to add an image of their personal or company stamp to documents. This helps signers reinforce their authority as an individual or organizational signatory. Similar to their e-signature, users can now also add their stamp to their Zoho Sign profile and re-use it when self-signing documents.
Validation for Text field input
The Text signer field which can accept any type of character input can now be limited to accept only certain types of data. Users can specify a format for each field which can be used to validate the signer input in real-time and prevent invalid entries. Users can also customize this validation by specifying a user-defined regex.
Automation credits
Organizations in the Enterprise plan now receive monthly automation credits, an amount proportionate to their licensed user count. This will enable users to explore, build, and automate custom Zoho Sign document workflows across supported apps within the Zoho ecosystem at no additional cost.

Enhancement to sending completed documents
Users can now choose to send the completed documents to the recipients either as file attachments or via a document link in an email. This can be configured under Sending options in the Account settings section.
Streamlined signing interface
A revamped signing interface now reduces the number of steps and clicks required to sign documents. This has been designed to offer a much more seamless and intuitive experience for guest signers and eliminate the need for additional assistance.
Increased signature request and file size
Users can now add up to 40 files in a document signature request and up to a total size of 40MB.
Updated mobile apps for Apple devices
Zoho Sign for iOS 14
Users can now access and manage their SignForms on the mobile app and add widgets to track and manage their paperwork from the home screen. In addition, the App Clips feature enables any iOS 14 user to quickly sign SignForm documents via a lightweight workflow, even if they don’t have the Zoho Sign app installed.
Zoho Sign for macOS Big Sur
Zoho Sign brings all the features of the iOS 14 and the iPadOS 14 apps to the macOS app along with a refreshed user interface containing a new sidebar, updated menus, photo picker, and date picker in style with Big Sur.
Improved mobile app for Android
A brand-new stylish user interface, with a wide array of menu and accessibility options, allows users to enjoy an improved mobile signing experience on their Android devices now. The app also supports Dark Mode now.
Add-in for Outlook
Users can now add documents from their email attachments and create sign workflows to collect signatures and obtain approvals directly from their Outlook mailbox. This add-in is available in Outlook only via Microsoft Exchange or Office 365.
Enhanced integrations
Cloud import, bulk send, and email templates in Zoho CRM
The Zoho Sign extension now allows users to import files from cloud storage services when creating sign workflows. Users can also select multiple records in the supported modules and initiate a bulk send sign workflow directly from the respective module screen. In addition, users can use a CRM email template associated with the respective module in the place of the Zoho Sign email template when sending documents out for signatures.
Cloud import and signer redirection in Zoho People
Users can now import documents from cloud storage services when creating e-signature workflows. The workflows can also be configured to redirect the signers to custom URLs upon performing specific document actions.
Tighter integration with Zoho Writer
A tightly integrated interface now allows for neat field addition and easy workflow configuration. Users can set signer vernacular, add additional attachments to the documents being sent for signatures, save workflow configurations for repeated jobs, and recall the documents that have already been sent out. Additionally, the workflows can also be configured to automatically save the signed documents back to WorkDrive and execute custom functions upon completion.
Client estimate signing and credit notes in Zoho Finance
Users can now send estimates that can be accepted and signed by clients directly from the emails they receive. This enables clients without client portal access to accept and sign estimates, while clients with client portal access no longer need to sign in to do so. In addition, credit notes can also be digitally signed before being sent to customers.
More action modules in Integromat
You can now connect Zoho Sign with 600+ external apps via even more action modules to build advanced automated workflows or Scenarios. You can send a document, get the details of a document, get the signer field data from a signed document, and download a document using the new action modules.
Feel free to explore these updates and enhanced integrations, and please share the news with your customers. You can keep watching this space for more news on our upcoming releases - we have got some big ones lined up!
