How to Redirect to a URL instead of getting xml response while adding records using REST API method ?
Hi, I am having a web page using which i am entering the data in to zoho creator using the "REST API Add Record" method.I am using the xml as request method and getting the Response as an xml when submit is clicked. But i want the page to redirect to another page insted of getting the xml response after clicking on submit button. Please provide me information on how to get this done.
I need more detailed explanation of how to add dates from my forms to a google calendar
I'd like My office assistant to schedule appts for my office employees. Based on the employee she is scheduling to service that order, I'd like it to look up their Google Calendar (she has permissions via google to write to their calendars) and insert the appt on their calendar. I've found some on success gapp create event in some of the help, but I can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas for a beginner?

Hi! I've got a picklist under the field "Item". I need to know how to check if the user is trying to select some Item on the picklist that has been selected previously in a subform. The tricky part is prior to hitting the "submit" button, nothing is updated to the tables yet. So how I can check and prompt user that this is a duplicate selection?
Get Customer Info back to Zoho Creator
After customers are created in Zoho Invoice, is it possible to have Account Balance information sent back to Zoho Creator. Again all of my customers are already in Zoho Invoice and I would like to update account balances back into Zoho Creator. Is there a .getCustomer() function?
Format font when record is edited
I would like to be able to some how edit the font of any field that was edited when a record was viewed/edited/updated. For example: Original field: "Customer:" Field after update: "Customer" I currently have "send email" on success when a record is updated and I would like for whoever views to be able to easily see which field was edited from the original record.

I would like the ability to connect fields from a single record in ZC into a ZWriter document, with those fields arranged and formatted in a ZWriter Doc. This would work similar to the dynamic fields available in ZSites (that are connected to your ZC databases). Okay I want to create an iCal feed to the zoho calendar. I have been able to create it, but I have a couple questions about ways to use it. My first question is whether or not it is possible to feed multiple fields into one handle. For instance if I have Customer_name, Job_Type and Sales_Person and I want them all to go into the DESCRIPTION= part of the iCal url. View design
In embedded a view in an html view (div tag). This works fine but two things are very ugly and probably a bug. 1. When I mouseover the edit button of a record (no dropdown as everything else is disabled) it turns black. The attached printscreen did not capture the mouse pointer itself, but it is right over the black box. 2. lookup questions
Hello I've got a couple of questions about lookups 1) There appears to be a limitation about lookups if the field being searched on has a " in it. I am getting an error stating invalid entries found when trying to add a record. I have removed them and its all ok but can't see anything which states whether or not this is a limitation or whether there is something else. 2) I also have a number of lookups in my application forms and and created an number of views for the users to see the data included.
Problem with the Dropdown Show choices in alphabetical order
Hello, I am having a problem (may be a bug), where I have created a dropdown that onLoad gets all the account names from the CRM, I have checked off the checkbox that says "Show choices in alphabetical order", but it is not alphabetizing them. I have two string records, "first name" and "last name", and I want to group them together to make a single "full name" string. How can I do this? I've tried assigning variable, but it doesn't seem to work.
Edit Permissions Only visable fields hides note fields
Minor problem. In a view when the Only visible fields option is selected in the set permissions section note fields are also hidden. These fields should always be shown. They do not contain data but are used to help the users fill out the form.
Over Limit notification for Developer
Two of my clients had problems with their applications last month because they had gone over limits. One hit the limits of records in their account. The other had executed more than the allotted schedules. I assume an email was sent to the application owner when they neared their limits. Deleting record from lookup fails to save selection
I'm trying to use uses a form "choice_remaining" to present users with a list of items (Say a list of cakes for a pot luck) I've setup a form called sign_up that lets them write their name and using a lookup field pick an item from the list. As each submit record makes a selection, I want to remove their choice from the list of possibilites. Eventually the lookup would be empty. All this works well except the selection from the lookup field (input.Selection) is never saved in the sign_up

If I understand correctly, Select/Deselect of multiselect fields (including linked multiselect) can only be used in the script section of the OnLoad and OnEdit of the form. If that is true, how can a record be modified via script from a custom action button, for example? If that is not true, what is the syntax for its use? Can anyone provide a sample code?

Hi, I am working on a form database that will allow the user to fill out a form and then pay for the inclusive of this information via Paypal. Everything works fine except that even if you back out of submitting the Paypal payment, the information entered on the form still is added to my database. Dear Zoho Team I have only one form in one of my applications. When I open an existing record, the onLoad script does not fire. When I add a new one it does. Furthermore, if I add a Notes field to the form, it is only visible when adding new records but not when opening existing ones. Please advise.
