Copying text from 1 sub-form to another
Hello, Is it possible to copy text from 1 sub-form to another. For example: I have a 4 forms In the Drawings form I have a sub-form called Materials and the user adds as many material sizes as need. Then in another form called Works_order the user selects the drawing number via a look-up linked to the Drawings form - then from that, can Zoho find all the materials in the Materials form and add them to another sub-form in the Works_order form? I'm basically asking how to come all the "rows" from one

ZC Disastrous Platform Changes are Killing My Business
I have been with ZC for around 3 years now. When you invest so much time and money into a particular platform (about $ 30,000.00 USD worth) then it is nearly impossible to simply change platforms and start again. Maybe ZC knows this, which is why they continually introduce unannounced changes that break links and stop businesses in their tracks. I am very disappointed Zoho restricted some feature using Zoho Creator form... now FREE on your website is just misleading to public to join and at the end be disappointed that their form can't be access publicly.. The whole purpose of form to get web visitors on the web to shoot their information quick and hassle free .. but now visitors have to sign up or use their own FB Yahoo account which many don't like to share... There is NO POINT to use Zoho Creator anymore ...therefore please stop such
Not sure why this code fails validation.
Background: I wanted to have Zoho assign custom IDs for certain forms so I followed the advice online and created a counter system wherein an Auto_Number form keeps track of the highest IDs and simply adds one to the appropriate counter when a new record is created. I would like to have the ID reset based on the year so that the last ID in 2012 might be 20125689 and on Jan 1 2013 it would automatically become 20130000. I'm trying to achieve this via the scheduler which I have never used before.
criteria for View Add button.
I'm using an openurl command with criteria to open a view so a users only sees records that are relevant to them. Is it possible to feed the same criteria to the Add button? In other words when they click on the Add the form is prefilled with the same criteria used for the view.

I receive an Email with all the fields completed. Recently, I had a person submit a FAKE registration form. How can I verify the identity of the person who submitted the FAKE registration form sent through Zoho?
How do I delete unwanted column formula?
I have created some unwanted /incorrect column formulas which seem to attach themselves to all Reports associated with the same view. I really don't want them listed but am unable to see how I can delete them, otherwise it looks like they will stay defined forever! Chris

I created an application on Zoho Creator and initially uploaded data from an Excel spreadsheet. I continually update my original Excel spreadsheet as this is my master database. Is there way to import only certain data (rows) from the Excel spreadsheet into my application?
HTML Views Not Showing on iPhone

how do i make additional fields appear based on a users previos input in a checkbox
I have a checkbox field with various diagnosis. The can check more than one. What I want to do: If the user checks the NPH diagnosis checkbox, then a whole new set of fields should appear for him to fill out. If he doesn´t check that particular checkbox then the additional field wont appear.
Form skip through- conditional
I may have the subject description slight wrong... ? If I have a form that asks certain questions and based on the answer to one of those questions eg a dropdown field where it provides two options- truck or ship, then pending on the response the user is faced with certain additional questions through another form, which otherwise would not have been seen or been required to complete. Can this be done? If so is this tied in with the subform capability? Is there an example somewhere of this working
Calendar View using HTML link value as "Display Field" has stopped working
The latest upgrade has taken away the facility of using a formula field, which generates a HTML link code with background-color and link to HTML view, as the Display Field. This calendar view which was working well and was used extensively by my client, now looks like shown in below.. While the same formula-field renders fine in list view.. Kindly fix the rendering issue in calendar views.

Web page hanging on user Zoho log-in
On a page on my web site I have six embedded reports. When a user comes to the page and logs in, they are presented with a 'Loading... Please Wait' message in each iframe. The page then hangs. Refreshing the page using F5 immediately brings up the content. This feels like a bug? Chris
Another ZOHO Creator platform change ... catastrophic to a second client !!!
I have now been told by a second client that the ZOHO Creator platform change has resulted in him not being able to conduct any business ... his application has numerous forms with dynamically populated Radio Button fields ... none of them respond to user selections !!! This is in addition to the first client ... whose customers were being (incorrectly) told that there was no inventory for them to rent (his equipment) ... had to make an emergency change to force feed a "inventory available" response

Integrate Zoho Creator with Zoho Calendar?
Zoho Calendar currently has nice functionality that does not seem to be available within Zoho Creator yet. I'm specifically interested in the ability to display multiple calendars as different colors on a single calendar view. Also the ability to easily toggle which calendars are displayed. Is the multiple color coded calendar capability going to be added to Zoho Creator? How can I integrate the two apps so records created and maintained within a Zoho Creator app can automatically be displayed

Add Event to ZOHO Calendar
I tested the zoho.calendar.createEvent task (ref) and have some observations and questions. Documentation: Instruct users to create a calendar name in Z Cal or use an existing one. Also, it would be helpful to provide examples of converting Z Creator date-time into Z Cal accepted format. There should be a way to pull a list of calendar names to populate a drop-down field. Hi, Our company has about 50 Sku, and we want to keep track of the unit sold for each sku on weekly basis. Form stuck at "please wait"
Ive traced my issue to the fact that when multiple checkboxes are selected that the form is getting stuck in "please wait" message when a user tries to submit. Subform Data From Master Form Not Getting Deleting
I have two forms. Work Order as the master form, and a General Journal form as a sub-form of Work Order. When I delete a sub-form row(General Journal) from the Work Order master form it will not delete the data from the General Journal. It doesn't show up in the the Work Order form. How to show list to a particular Group on Look Up field?
Hi, I have different GROUP Name with different MEMBERS. Now I'm trying to make a database reporting on each GROUP, I want each group to input their reports and identify who among their MEMBERS attended their meeting. Problems with Subforms
Until now I have not had a need to investigate subforms. But a need arose to create a time-input manager at work and since many people work on multiple projects, a subform seemed to be the base scenario. But subforms are really buggy! Preview function popup not working in IE
Hi, I am having an issue where the popup window from my custom action preview function is not appearing correctly in Internet Explorer. I have version 9 and others have reported it in versions before 9. One time you click the button the window might appear, then the next, it doesn't appear, and shows only a transparent gray band at the very top of the page.
"Powered by Zoho Creator" logo hides part of a stateless form
Hi! I've got a public embeded stateless form tant contains several buttons. The problem is some of these buttons are hidden under the image of "Powered by ZOHO Creator". It is a built-in css issue. Any possibiliy of fix this? Any workaround? Thank you!
Issue with a null lookup field that is of type Number
In a Normal form (Year Records), I have a lookup field whose type on the parent form (Year) is "Number". I have a forrm with subform. I managed to prepare import that creates new record (in main form) and also creates 2 records in subform. it works just fine. Here is my problem, I need to import subform records to already existing main records ( none of them currently have any records in subform). It does not work. Auto Filter Limits
Is there a limit to the number of items that will appear in an auto filter drop down box. I have an auto filter set up on one of my views but it is missing the most recent items that I would expect to see at the bottom of the list. May 2012 Calendar Update: How to lock past events.
How would one lock past events now? In the old system one could simple disable the date field in Edit mode. In the new system the Drag & Drop feature only calls the date field On Update script, so what On Update script would one use to cancel such an attempt to change a past event using the Drag & Drop feature?
