Email header: change to return-path
HI, About 24 hours ago there was a change in the email headers going from my Creator application. The field "return-path" is no longer using the administrator email address. Instead it is using <mailserver+(myname)@zohocreator.com>. This has created problems for me with downstream service providers and has prevented these emails from being delivered. How & why did this change occur? Can it be changed back, and if not, why not? Please can you help? Many thanks Anna
How do I display the result of several formula fields in the same form?
I have several formula fields that calculate the subtotal price of products when the quantity is entered. How do I generate a sum total of the formula results and display a "total cost" field in the form ?
Decimal Fields Calculating a Whole Number
Hi, I have a "Total" field that is the sum of all "prices" in a sub-form. I have this working using the formula below. However, the result is giving me a round number as opposed to a decimal. So, if my prices are 22.10 and 11.13, I get a result of 33 as opposed to 33.23. All fields are specified as decimals, so I don't understand why the result is rounding down. Please help! Need help getting PayPal to work please on form
I have shared my app sportspenguin with support. I have a PayPal business account. It is an app that basically acts as a classified ad list for people to sell things. An anonymous person can list an item to either be given away or to sell for a price. They list their item on the 'Item' form. If they list an item for free, there's no cost and no need for Paypal. Here the field 'Asking_Price' in the Item form = 0. The item will be listed for x Months where the user specifies the number of months.
Error in counting the number of record in my account
When I access my Usage Limit and go to Add-Ons I see this S.No. Particulars Your quota Used Remaining 1 Records Count 6,000 1 5,999 2 File uploads and Attachments 500 MB - - Although I have more than 1000 records in one application!. Multiple criteria in a lookup field
I have a lookup field in form "Dispute" which looks up data in a form named "User", and which uses as a criteria "User_Type == "A". This works fine. But in addition to the above criteria, I also need to add as a criteria where the field "User_Country" in the User form = the field "Country" in the Dispute form, so that the user does not need to scroll through lists of users that are not relevant to the country. Sorting has no effect on the order
Hi, i'm trying to process data in small batches and i have a hidden field called "RecalcPending" that by default contains the value TRUE. After the script processes one line it sets the value to FALSE. And setting the sort condition to Asc or Desc has no effect and the 130 or so lines of data never get processed by this script. I can see them in the view but so they have to be stored somewhere and the sort condition is not doing what it should do. Here is the for each line where the sorting is with
View records created that week for a non-standard week.
I have a need to show new records created that week, but using a non-standard week. I have a client whose work week runs from Saturday to Friday. I was trying to use the getWeekOfYear function, but due to the non-standard work week it would not work properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bill
Common field between a form and a subform
I am working on a job order application. It has a subform with staff assignment to that particular job. If I go into the staff view, it shows no association to the parent form. I want to be able to go into the staff view and see a column of the job order number the particular subform was entered under. How can I accomplish that? I hope I am explaining it right :)
how to protect previous text in a multiline box
hi everyone i would like to have notes added to a record. so each time it the record is updated by someone it will record the date and save some text the user enters into a multiline box. how can i protect this text so next time someone edits the record they are unable to delete the last text added. also how can i get it to add the current date when a user edits a field? or is there a better solution? cheers Lathan

pricing discrepancy
I was looking at the upgrade options for Creator and when I view it while logged into zoho, the number of reports for Basic are 5 and for Standard are 10. When I view the pricing options when not logged into zoho, the number of reports for Basic are 2 and for Standard are 2. Why the discrepancy? Btw, Creator is great! Ray

Hi, I have a field that I want to be all capital letters and numbers, input.Serial = input.Serial.toUpperCase(); When I use this on 'on user input' it does the job I want but the circle that appears when a field is updating stays. Adding fields
Hello, I have a form called 'drawings' and I want to have some fields where users add notes about the drawings. These notes are 'operations' The problem I have is each drawing will have different operations, some only 2 operations, others maybe 12. Each operations will have a run time too, so 10mins for operation 1 and maybe 30 mins for operations 2 (for example) What is the best why to deal with this? I hope I have explained it well enough, I am new to zoho but so far it's bloody amazing so far.

Updating Field with another Field's Data in the same form on Input or Update
Looking for help with the following: I have three fields in my form: Bid Price Final Price Result I need the form to automatically update the Final price with the Bid Price when the Result = "Successful". Anyone have a script or can point me in the right direction? I'm confused as to whether I need to attach the script to the Result field to update the Final Price or if the script needs to be attached to one of the other fields and what the script would look like. Make the "red star" appear denoting a form field is required based on user actions in the form before clicking SUBMIT. Currently if a form field is not marked required, we can employ code in the validation process to check form fields for some condition, and terminate form processing if the conditions are met. New view appears under Reports tab
Hello, I created a new view by duplicating an existing view that was located under the Views tab. (Creating a view by that method does not permit you to select where you would like the new view to be located.) For some reason, my new view appeared under the Reports tab, rather than the Views tab. The only explanation I can conjure is that I set the permissions on the View as Add record:No, Edit record:No, Delete record:No. Can I move the view back to the Views tab?
