When someone fills in a contact form I have, where does the info they have input go - into Zoho's database? Do I have to go into the database to pick up the info? Can I have it emailed to my email account? Tks - jb
Logging into two Zoho accounts
As I will be working with two different companies with Zoho forms, I have opened a Creator account for each company. Since many of the issues I have will be with both sets of forms, I tried to log into both accounts but it appears that Zoho will not let me do so. Is this correct - one can not be logged into two different accounts at the same time? Is so, why? - jb
Suggestion on "Access this application"
Building apps with shared forms/views/sections (as we can play in a same form to show/hide/disable fields) often depend on the logged user/user's group. To see/control the applications according to the user or to arrange layout of forms is not easy when we see all the (hidden) fields : I use another browser to access to the app with the user's login : I can check if all the fields/views/sections are shown as I want to (for this user). Grouping Forms/Views in Edit Mode
I have more than 20 Forms/Views in some of my applications, either Real Form or Stateless Form. Even I'm having 54 Views in one of my application, that made me dizzy whenever I have to edit one of them. I wonder that I can group Forms/Views on Edit Mode into several sections (like "Add a New Section" in Settings -> Customize -> Rearrange Links)), so i can easily manage them. Thank you very much! Tooltip & dropdowns
When will tool tips be available for Select Items? When will tool tips be available for disabled input text? Most users want to know why it is disabled. Can you not put the tool tip text on the title attribute of the associated label? I modified select Item list and they do not show up in application.
View Criteria - Related Fields - Error
I am referencing a related field in a View and it is causing the view to return the "We are unable to fetch this data, sorry! Please note that your data is SAFE." error. lookup field is randomly working and not working

Zoho Creator - Printing/Exporting Applications/Records
Most of our applications have enough columns that would exceed a standard 8.5x11" piece of paper. When choosing the print option, is there anyway to display records vertically rather than horizontally? It appears as if when you try to print, export to pdf, export to excel, etc the only way data is formatted is horizontally. Is there anyway I can print/export applications/records vertically? Contact form
I used the template for a contact form and made the changes I wanted to same. When someone uses this form, the info input into the fields is sent to the database. Is it also sent to an email address of my choosing? Should I have a form with radio buttons for Sales, Admin, etc., and then taken to the correct Contact form? If I have one contact form for Sales, one for Admin, etc., how do I get the emails sent to the correct email address? Tks - jb
Managing large numbers of users
Dear ZC-team, If I would like to share an application to a large number of users, how do I manage this. The way in which users are allowed access to specific forms, views, reports etc. in ZC is very cumbersome. There is no possibility to automate this in anyway? At first glance, a matrix presentation of users against forms, views etc. with checkboxes to allow rights would seem the first step. I also notice that there is deluge scripting possible to share/unshare stuff, but is that easy to operate?
Currency field is missing ending Zero.... ?
When values are entered into a Currency field and passed to HTML view, the ending zero is missing - i.e. entered 50 and it shows up as 50.0 I have 2 decimal points (default) entered under Appearance. Any ideas on how to get another zero in there?
Re-arranging left panel of forms/views seen in "access the application" mode
Hi, Is there any way to rearrange the left panel that contains the forms/views in the "access the application" mode? I'd like to group certain forms & views instead of having them in alphabetical order. Thanks for your help!
Not certain whether I should be creating a View or a Form but its not working for me
I have 2 forms in my application. One is for Landlords and the other is for Prospective Tenants and one view emenating from each of them. I am trying to create "something" where I can combine many fields from Current Available Apartments, including Landlord's name, Address, Phone Number, Rent with pertinent info from the Prospective Tenant List when a particular apartment gets rented. On this combined "something" I need to add a few fields like the date it was rented, my broker's fee and my commission
There is not such View in Zoho Creator
I have an application with several forms & views, today I create another view , everything looks fine , I order the columns, I put some sorting columns on the view, etc.etc, then when I try to access the application I receive the message "There is no Such View in Zoho Creator", and of course the previus view defined was not there. I try these creating a New View and also using the Duplicate View function, in both cases the message is the same, is any limitation with the quantity of views?. Regards.

Hi, I use Creator to list customers and clients. I am not familiar with Deluge and have been trying to write a script to use a "yes/no" radio button field to copy address components. Please ask dev to ALPHABETIZE all drop down picklists for forms
In a couple places dev made the effort to alphabetize the list of forms that are needed in various places inside of Zoho Creator, but not all places. Why? It is extremely annoying to try to hunt for a form in a long list of forms, and they are not alphabetized. I know this has been mentioned in older threads, but I feel it must be brought up again. It's a simple SORT function. Please ask dev to complete the task they started and make all drop downs that list form names ALPHABETIC. Thank you.
urgent! Solution Needed for highschool project (easy)

Error when submitting Quick Add from requester login
Made some additions to the Quick Add form and when a requester tries to submit, it gets an error and says to contact the administrator. I am new to this type of software. We are going to be using this as a support system at a high school. We have two IT guys, including me, and about 400 students. Students are "requesters" through google apps EDU. I wouldn't even mind turning quick add off altogether but I can't figure that out either.

I have a test string field that is a person's name. When I export to excel or PDF it now has   in between the first and last name instead of the space. It just started doind it this week. Any ideas why?

Lookup fields and null question help
So I have application Test I have a lookup field Lookup_11 With fields for customer email, phone number ect how do I make this code allow reservations even when some of the fields are not filled out or have a different email or ect that is not in the Registrations table? List lookup related field can't be displayed in views
I have a view containing a multiselect list referring to some IDs in another form, and I added a "related fields" to display the names in the view instead of IDs. The problem is that this field is always hidden in live mode. I can unhide it, but I can't save the changes and when I refresh the view, the field is hidden again. Note that the case is that not all the other fields are shown in the view, but if I make the view to display all, my field appears. Please test the way in which "related fields"
Any particular reason why saving records is failing all the time
I am trying to edit records while in "grid" view. when I press "Save", the "Saving Records" shows and the indicator keeps "rolling". This isn't for every record, but it has been frustrating updating 200 records today. can anyone chime in?

Is 'https' required?
Just yesterday (May 4, 2011) links to Views, which I generated using scripting and form data, began to malfunction and display the view without any CSS. Changing the link structure from 'http' to 'https' seems to have solved the problem. However, I now have to manually update close to 300 records as scripted variables are not set when using Bulk Edit. Did something change? These links worked fine before yesterday. Going Public - Zoho Creator
Back on April 10th I created an account on Zoho in order to use their creator application. Roughly a day or so after that I requested for it to be capable of going public. However, after nearly a month, going public is still "pending". I'm assuming at this point that there must be a glitch of some sort going on, but I had seen a few of the zoho employees (or mods, whatever) fix this issue for fellow users, so i'm asking if someone could PLEASE do the same for us. Mobile view of data - more than 5 records per page!
I have a Client Directory View in my application https://creator.zoho.com/egutshall/task-manager/#View:Client_Directory I would like my users to access this directory from their mobile phones. Hello, I have a function in my application that checks inputted dates against deadlines and if the date is passed a deadline, the system withdraws the student. I need to add in a function that allows the user to override this function so that they can allow a student to participate even if they have passed a deadline, but when I try the script I have written, it still withdraws the student as they are passed the deadline. How Can Users Enter Data and Choose to Share or Keep Private
Hi: Zoho Creator is great! We are creating an private application which will have about 50 users. We would like to keep the application data private (not viewable by the public), but allow our users to enter data. We would also like our users to choose whether to keep the data that they enter private only to themselves, or to alternatively choose to share their data with the other users of our application. I know this sounds like a simple question but I'm trying to create a quiz and for the life of me I cannot find how to edit a question in a quiz. I can edit the name of the question but not the questions. Will someone tell me how to do this???

Added_User == zoho.loginuserid in Set Criteria Does Not Work
Hi: I am trying to create a view that shows only the records added by the particular user. I found that you are supposed to use the Set Criteria feature with Added_User == zoho.loginuserid, but when I configure it that way, it returns no records. Need Help: Sorting records by Date is not working -- ?!
I have a simple form that includes a date field. I'm populating a checkbox list with records for the user to choose from. Border color gone in Firefox
In my html views I include table, where I control the border color as follows: #inhalt { border-collapse: collapse; border: 1px solid red; font: 12px arial; } This works fine in Chrome and until recently also in Firebox. But in the newest version of Firefox the setting only controls the outer border of tables. Is this a Zoho bug? See attached picture. Support has edit access to my app (bmpm). Regards, Filip
