Toggle show/hide divs
Hello everyone, Hopefully I don't start a new forum, if so, please close this one and let me know where to find the right forum... But I'll give it a shot anyway, I'm really new at jQuery, but it's unbelievable interesting. But I've run into a problem, I just can't seem to get to toggle between show/hide a div. Fill a dropdown based in conditions and others dropdown in others forms

embed problem with summary of view and updating form information
HI Thanks for any help you can offer. My users are unable to find the popup box to update information from the summary view because it is centering itself on the default size of the iframe instead of the users screen. I believe the problem stems from me having to set a default height (7000px) instead of 100% so that the form displays correctly in all browsers(firefox inparticular). Buttons won't open dialog boxes when form is embedded on website
I used the notes field to add buttons and call up html views inside a dialog box when the button is clicked. The problem is that these buttons don't work when the form is embedded in my website. My colleague says it is a cross domain issue. Is there a way to get these buttons to work when the form is embedded?

Sum Form to display another Form
I have two Forms - in one, the User inputs Daily Sales, Labor, and other figures. In the other form, the User inputs Supply ordersm broken down by Food, Paper, etc. User can input more than one Supply Order a day. Use of empy field condition
I have generate 2 forms (1) Form-1 : 3 fields (2) Stateless form Data will be entered in stateless form. Total 6 fields generated in stateless form. A customized button also generated. A deluge script attached with this button (On click). Script is such that it will add first 3 fields of stateless form as a first record in Form-1 and another 3 fields of stateless form as second record in Form-1. last question: How can I change the automatic Creator ID
Hello once more, Using the ID option is very handy. In the email notification the user receives in this way a personal nr and I can store that nr besides in the view for later reference. The number that Creator uses is very long, like 225749000000034400. Can I change it that it would automatically give another (shorter) nr like 08091000 and with each following user of the form the nr would be 08091001, 08091002 and so on? Get an IE alert with many records selected for a form object
The above pops up in Internet Explorer with a custom action bringing up a form, if more than about 50 records are selected. Anyone know how to turn it off or get around it? It scares users. Works fine for me in Firefox, though a user reports similar there as well (I have not been able to replicate it).

How to add a new field with an "if statement"

Can't delete form?

PHP Forms
I have been using PDFTK tools to fill forms then flatten them. By taking various free/opensource scripts from the net I managed to make a program that will take POST data and fill a form then flatten it. I use INKSCAPE to create the form graphics and OPENOFFICE to create the fields. I also manged a way to include photos. If there was an elegant way to present data then it would be great. For example a WYSIWYG type of editor where you drop and move fields around to where you want them to be displayed

Workaround for loops to add records to a database
I am working on a database for a pet-sitting service. Clients make bookings for pets to be visited and walked and these bookings can range from one day upwards. I have a form to enter all the booking information and I am trying to write a script to add each visit (up to three a day for a varying number of days) to another form in the database called Visits. I am new to zoho. I am trying to build a database to keep records on a task list that needs to be duplicated for each client we have. As soon as we accomplish another task for a client, how do I update the records? Right now, it is making a new record for the client. I want it to write over the old record.

How to add multiple data in one form?
I need to create a simple application that has the following information: (it's a letters database) The user create a new "Received letter". He chooses from a list of senders, just ONE name. Then he chooses date, subject, etc. And he chooses, from the same list of senders, the "RECIPIENTS", that could be MORE than one. How to associate more than one recipients in just one form? If I use Multi-Select box, I cannot search for a name (have more than 20.000 names in a list). Suggestions?

Help with syntax please. I have a form [tasks] that records tasks and links them to the Jobs form [jobs] using a job number. I've created script in the Task form that counts the number of active tasks against a job number and assigns the value to a variable called active_task_count.
