How to search for a field with anything in it?
How do you select (in a view) a field that has something, anything in it, but not nothing? e.g. I have a field for email addresses (this is a bad example because I could search for the "@") How would I select all the fields WITH email addresses filled in?

Hi I'm using the free version. I want to set email notification when someone submits a request. When I try to edit the form to do that it says I don't have permissions to edit the script.

how do i take the ending value for a field and make it the beginning value of a different field?
Yes, i want the ending volume of the previous record to be the beginning volume of the next record. i have also provided edit access. in our winery every action starts with a beginning volume (bvolume) and ends with an ending volume (evolume). by way of example: Chardonnay beginning volume = 1000 gallons chardonnay filtered Chardonnay ending volume = 980 gallons The next time i open this field, i would like the beginning volume to show the ending volume (980 gallons) from the last action. How to order the data in a table according to dates?
Hi, I have made an events form and a view of this form. When the user enter data with the begin and finish dates, I want the for to be ordered according to begin date putting the nearest event to the top followed by the coming dates. However when the current date is later than the finish date, I want it to be automatically removed. For example today is 08.09.2010 and there is an event beginning on 08.09.2010 and finishing on 10.09.2010. I want it to be at the top due to its begin date. On 11.09.2010

I want to create search/browse form in my website so that web user can get data from google/zoho or similar spreadsheet as per options he has choosen from given options. Quickest way to modify a form

HTML not supprted in the scheduled emails?
I tried both in my account in one of my clients' account, but I've got the same results. I made a custom schedule - an email with attached xls reports. The problem is that the email is sent as plain text, and the html tags appear in plain text (<strong> , <br> and so on), even if content type is html . Is this a known problem in Scheduler? Zoho Calendar and ICAL feed
I have a ZOHO app with the following items. Single Line Called TITLE, a multiLine called DETAILS, a Drop Down called ALLDAY and 2 date-times called STARTS and ENDS. I want to change it over to an ical and import it into ZOHO calendar. For some reason when I go to my calendar and click subscribe to and enter a url UNDEFINED pops up in the corner and nothing loads. Any ideas why this would happen. Cannot delete record
I have two records in my database that i cannot delete or update. i am not sure why and have tried modifying fields in hope it would delete. Still no success. If someone could look into this and possible remove the records that would be great. There are two records both for the company Array Studios. Adding Zeros before Number in Number Fields
In our forms we added a numeric field with a max of 3 digits. We sort our customers by these numeric fields. Our numbering system start at 001 and ends 999. We would like for these numeric fields to auto populate to 00# or 0## when less then 3 digits are entered. Is this possible? Thank you for your assistance and quick response.
idea for user rights
What I would like in sharing views and forms is to be able to copy the user-assignments I currently have for a user to another user. That would allow me to assign the same rights to a new user as a current user. Or for example when an employee leaves I can easily transfer the rights to the new employee (which has a new account). Even better would be if we were able to work with groups of users or with roles.
Does ZC able to create Effective Dated record?
i am designing an ERP via Zoho. But according to client requirement, it's needed to keep track all their staff's movement of any detail among the company. Eg. promotion, when is hired, when is transfer department and a setup of X calculation also vary among time (support back-dated will use different rate for computation) So, i go through some basic tutorial, but didn't find a way to friendly way to keep track Effective dated records. the word null during string concatenation
i created a field called Full_Name which is a formula field. the formula is: Salutation + " " + First_Name + " " + Last_Name if there is nothing in the Salutation field, the results are null firstname lastname, for example: null Joe Brown how do i stop it from including the word null when there is nothing in the field. thanks.

Taking Data From Form - Pasting into a letter
I have a simple database in ZC. I want to be able to easily copy the address info from a record into a document. I am now copying from the record the name - then pasting to my word processing document. Then I copy the address - and paste it into my word processing document. Then I copy the city-and paste it into my word processing document. Is there a way I can set this up to copy the whole name and address and paste it to my WP document. Hi, I have a form that get for example 10 different data from the user. I want only 6 of them to be seen as columns in my table. So I arranged this from column properties.
