Applicanion view is not private
hi! I have a problem regarding my application. It is a register form and contains private information of my site members. When I'm logged in I can see the application view(the informations my members entered in the form) .. If I copy the link from the browsers adress bar, then log out of my account and paste it in the browser... all information can still be seen. The form is set to public but the view shouldn't be private (only seen by me) ? till now I have saved the information locally on my pc
Public access to my form
When I'm clicking on "request a public acces" in my form settings, its writed "error on this page", so I'm not able to give a public acces to my form on my website. Is this because I'm using a free account?

Adding Data through Email deluge
I want to be able to foward my emails from my answering service into my customer service database. I have it set up with the subject and the content but the emails from the the answering service just will not go in. Others I test will. Why are they not going in. Is there some kind of number of letter restrictions or format issues or what?

New Entry Not Being Selected in Picklist when Passed in URL

Hi, Canvassing views on this... I would like to be able to carry out a PostURL-OpenURL sequence...so that I can pre-populate some of the fields in the new page being opened (i.e. a Creator form) with the posted data. I get the impression this is not possible, and that people to date have being adding a record to a form using PostURL (and the post method) and then retrieving it later (via some unique key which is generated on the fly) to prepopulate the form fields. Link to another form
Hi, I have a small problem with a survey I created. My survey consists of 6 different forms which at the end should be one survey. Therefore I use the "submit" button as a link to the next form. This works but the next form appears somewhere in the middle and not at the top. This can be a bit confusing for the respondants. Therefore my questions. is it possible that the new form appears at the top or is there another way to link several forms together. Thanks for your help in advance. Thomas

I want my calendare to be based on date from multiple fields in my form. Another words I want it to be based on more than one field. How can i do this? I'm thinking it is in "view definitions and has to do with the following: options ( show calendar based on Seminar_Date1 ) Of course when i add more fields into the function i get errors. Verify a URL
Does anyone know how to verify a URL? I've tried using GetURL function, but no matter what URL I send, I get the -1 and internal error response. I guess I'm really looking for specific codes such as 403 or 404 and to prevent redirects. Thank you, Joe

Report/view for one form based on filter from different (linked by lookup) form
Hi, I have an app with two forms, Address, and Zip Code Info. The Address contains typical contact mailing address info, and the Zip Code Info form contains demographic information for each Zip Code. The zip code field is an Import Data field linked to the Zip Code Info form. I'd like to export addresses based on a filter from the Zip Code Info form, say, for example, the Avg_Household_Income field. Federated Login option showing even if set to "No" in Application Settings
As the subject line says, my application is still showing a Federated Login option even after I've turned it off in Application Settings. See the following: 1. I've set "Show Federated Logins" to "No" for my application 2. But, attempting to log into an embedded view of that application still shows the Federated login options. Embedding a form on SSL secure site- iframe element isn't secure
When I embed a form in an iframe on my site- with external SSL certificate, on some Internet Explorer machines it indicates that some elements on the page are not secure- the element they are referring to is the iframe with the embedded form. My hosting service tech and I went through all the html code we could find, looking for references inside the form that referred to the unsecure (http:) site so we could manually change them to https: -but that didn't work. Impossible to export any view to PDF?
Hi all, I've looked into quite a few similar topics on this forum, some of them a little old, but found that most of the time the question was ignored by the support team altogether...? I am simply trying to export some list or summary views to PDF format. When I click on the 'Download' button, however, all I get is a blank page. Export seems to work for other formats though. problems with questionnaire
HI! I'm using a Zoho creator questionnaire for a graduation project where people have to give feedback on and upload their training sessions for the Amsterdam marathon. However, some subjects complain about not being able to upload their training sessions. After filling out all the required field the 'please wait'-text appears but than nothing happens, I'm not receiving the sessions either. Could it have anything to do with the verificationcode? Can a view criteria use comparisons with data from a record in another form?
I'm trying to set up the criteria for a view based on fields in a record in a separate form, but it seems like you can't do that. I've tried everything I can think of. Is this possible? How would you do it?
automatic creation of records
hello i'm new to evaluate zoho creator. I was trying to add records automatically in a table, according to a record in an other tabe. Ex : In formA user selects a number for 'recurring amounts', a start date and an iterator ( day, month, year ) : up on these values, a certain number of records should be generated in formB. I didn't find the way to do that ? ( seems like for-next, or do-while constructions are not available in zoho creator, am i wright ? ) Somebody have suggestions thanks frank
Restriction of fields for editing in view
For a form that has several fields, I want to create a view that has only a few fields that can be edited by the user, but when I click 'edit', the system is displaying all the fields. Is there an alternative? That is, I want to select which fields can access a view. Tks
Bug: Cannot remove restrictions from Single Line text fields
There are 3 single line text boxes on my form which are currently REQUIRED to be filled in before a user can submit the form. I keep trying to remove this restriction but every time I edit the fields and then click "Access this application", they just go back to being restricted. Please help me fix this. Thanks!
Batch import Zoho Creator
I am having trouble batch importing Excel spreadsheets. Date formated as "8/7/2010 5:03:11 AM" does not get imported..... I don't know how I should format the dates so Zoho Creator will take it?
Is there a way where you can use a single line field to look up a list of employees from a lookup field and only choose from that list?

I am looking for a way where there would be a single line box where if user ABC starts to type AB, it will pull a list from a view that begins with ABC. Cannot edit any records and views have stopped working
Today i made a change to a field type from number, to text. It was a field that only had a couple entries in it. I read the typical delete your reports message which was fine since there were no reports based on it. I then tried to edit the field that i just turned into a text field. I was unable to save the changes when i clicked on edit and made changes. I then went to grid view and was able to make changes and save it. Now this field that was changed to text does indeed have numbers and words

Single Line Text fields showing as multi Line
Noticed this morning that when editing the definition of a Form ... if I click on the Edit this Field link for a Single Line Text field, the resulting popup form shows the current value for the dropdown labelled Field Type: as Multi Line The visual for the field is still for that of a Single Line Text field ... but I am concerned about making any changes (to other properties of the field) in case it corrupts Client's Application data. @ZOHO Creator Team ... please investigate and advise ... - when
Converting a date/time string to the right Zoho date/time format
I have a date/time string in the format of "2010-08-01T18:07:22-06:00". I'm trying to convert it into a date/time variable in Zoho. I'm using the .toTime() function on the string like this: datetime = datetimestring.toTime("yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss")When I execute the script, it gives me an error that it's "unable to update variable datetime." So there is an error in converting the string to a Zoho date/time. I'm thinking it might have to do with the timezone on the end of the string (-06:00), which
Embedding a Creator Form into a secure site (SSL)
I have created a form in Creator, which I embed in an iFrame on a web page that has an SSL certificate. On certain IE browsers I get an error loading the page stating that some elements may not be secure. The only element on this page that isn't secure is the iFrame. Hi, The google login button has disappeared from Zoho creator. The only way I can get into my account is to log in via zoho wiki and then open creator. I have tried IE8, Firefox 3.6.8 and Chrome 5.0.375.125 beta. See attached screen shot. Can you explain?

Make my form public
Why cant i make the form i made public? It will only allow me access to private. All i get is an error on page. Can you help?

I often get an error message that records could not be updated. There is an option to click for details, but when I do, details are out of view in the box and can't be seen.
