Usage Limits
A client asked me to help with his Zoho application. He has several forms that he wants to combine some of the information into a new form. I have written the code but I am now bumping up against the 500 record limit. I may only be hitting the limit because I've run several tests today. However he may hit the limit in a few months. I don't know what subscription level he has. What is the fee to increase the usage limits? Herb Wexler

Excel Import
I have an Excel date field formatted as e.g. 27-Jan-2010 which I thought was an acceptable format for creator. It does not import any values whatsoever. Both creator and excel use the same field names. Also, I have a creator URL field which accurately imports properly constructed url's from excel as text values, but which are not clickable links. Any thoughts on these issues would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

How to link imported data to form?
Hi, I would like to make a search form based on some data imported from excel. (1) I have imported the excel data via the excel migration tool but I cannot find the data anywhere (although there was a message to say that data has been uploaded successfully) (2) How do I link this data to my search form? More Display Columns
I have a Consumer Satisfaction Form in which I need 45 columns displayed in the view page to print the results of each question. The default form only displays 8 columns, so I have gone in several times and placed a check mark next to each of the other boxes I need displayed and then I hit "Done". When I go back to the view page, it's still the original 8 columns displayed. It is not saving the others. Is there a limit of only 8 columns to be displayed? If not, why won't it save my new settings?
How can I make a record a url link in a view?
Hello Everyone, I have been searching the forum and knowledgebase for a couple of hours and cannot seem to find anything regarding this. Can records in a list view be a link? I have 2 different forms linked by a "Subject_ID." when I view the view from the second form I have "Subject_ID" as a column and it lists the "Subject_IDs" as records but I want to be able to click on the "Subject_ID" and go that "Subject_ID" in the first form. Use of Dynamically Loaded ListBox Fields !!!
In the past couple of months, my clients have encountered situations related to ... ListBoxes whose options are dynamically loaded in Add/Edit Forms from records in other Tables (Forms) ... that have made the use of such ListBoxes vey unappealing. I have discussed such situations with the ZOHO Creator Team in private ... but there appears to be no urgency in addressing these deficiencies (architecture flaws) ... so I am posting this for the benefit of others who may be using such fields/techniques
E-mail notification for an import
Hi. Is there a way to send a single email notification if I upload 200 records into my Creator application? I set it up to work off the submit button but if I import several records through the import interface it sends me an email for every record uploaded (very annoying to have to delete 200 emails everytime. I'd like it to just send me one to let my team know new records have been added.
User access - can not log in
Hello again, I did follow the steps stated in a previous post in the form by having my staff creating their Zoho accounts, and I added their email address to share so they can add and view records ( the permissions which I choosed- add-view) but when the user logs in theough the my site which I Iframe it, the get the following message after they enter their user name and password. " You have logged in as kevin. You are not allowed to access this form. Please click here to login as a different user.
Unable to save changes in a couple of my scripts. Error message 12002
I get error message 12002 when trying to save changes into some of my scripts. Besides, while trying to submit a form that uses those scripts, submission fails or gets very slow (about 30 seconds). Thanks, Jaime

Cannot add a new form
I cannot add a new form to my application. I am importing the data from Excel. I paste it and click the submit button and all I receive is a blank screen. Any thoughts? Allow users to import data.
Is there an option somewhere to allow users to import data? I would like to grand one of my users the ability to import excel files daily into the database. However, More Actions, all users only see export data, no import option shows up. Is this some sort of a feature or a defect?
Application data migration.
How can you migrate form data to cloned applications. Scenario: I have a master application that has several forms that are connected with the datalookup control creating several one to many relationships. I need to migrate these form tables to a newly created application that is a .ds import of the master application.Issue: When I import the data into the new application it generates new IDs for the records which do not match the foreign-key relationships and the connection is lost between the records.
REST API View Record - need Criteria example
According to the documentation, you can specify a criteria when viewing a record using the REST XML API. The records that satisfy the given criteria will be displayed. You can specify multiple criteria using "AND"/ "OR" operator But there is no example of this. What is the syntax? I can tell how to do it for FORMS, but not for VIEWS. Thanks!

Update Existing Records in Bulk
I need to update over 1,000 existing records using a script. I need to move all the data from old fields, into a new ones, and also add in information from linked records. Is there any way to do this? I have created a script that runs On Edit, which works, but I don't want to open up and edit each record one by one to trigger the script. I tried doing a bulk edit, but this didn't trigger the On Edit script. Any ideas?
View not opening in design mode

Checkbox items not showing up when used as a filter

update values for new formula field
I added a formula field to a form with existing data. How do I update this field for all existing records. I'm considering adding a temp field and doing a bulk edit to change the temp field and then remove the temp field. This would force a recalc of the formula field. Is there a simpler method? Fair enough that it is a free version, but it severely limits it's ideal usability don't you think?
