Background color of Zoho Creator forms
When embedding a Zoho Creator form in another webpage, it has an ugly, gray background in IE7. I believe this is because the body's background color is not set to transparent in the form, and when you embed it as an iframe in IE7, there is no way to change the background color so it is always gray. Could the form body's background color be set to transparent, or at least white, so that it looks decent when embedded in another webpage and viewed in IE7? Thanks! razorwit
Infinite loop when using replace function
I have tried multiple ways to get zoho to stop replacing text when the first replacement is done, but cannot get it to work. The code I have right now in the on user input section of the Reference Name 1 field is: refName=input.Reference_Name_1; if (input.Reference_Name_1.contains(" ")) { refNameReplace=(refName).replaceFirst(" ","%20"); input.Reference_Name_1=refNameReplace; } else { }but it does not seem to stop the loop. Can anyone spot the error in this code that is not stopping the function?
Glitches all day in addition to slow access
In addition to getting complaints all day about slow access to our Zoho Creator application, I am receiving multiple reports from people who are having trouble accessing data. For awhile one of my users received the message "We are unable to fetch this data, sorry! Please note that your data is SAFE.Report this problem to support@zohocreator.com" although nothing had changed with his access or our application. need workaround/fix for extremely slow access
Hi friends, Is anyone else experiencing extremely slow creator access time? It is taking 30-40 seconds to access my home page or applications, the slowest ever, and i'm timing out on about 25%. Forums and help pages working fine, just creator apps slow. I cleared cache and rebooted, but it's not better. We are at the point where it is too slow to work! :(. Any ideas of what I can do? Dax

Creater & Zoho CRM API Help
Very new at this.... I've constructed a url using the Zoho CRM API that posts a lead and this works perfectly in my browser - inserts the contents into the leads section. How do I translate this to a Creator form. I want the submitted form to be sent to the CRM and I've been messing around with maps and variables and posturl and the best I've got is nowhere. Could someone point me to a simple deluge script that will do this. Thanks for any help, Jon

Lookup Function On Creator
I added a lookup field on form B which references a single line field in form A. However when I am on B View Mode. The data does link automatically to form A database. I've been using Zoho CRM for years now and I love this functionality where I can map field dependencies across application within the CRM. For example, you can do a look up of contacts even if you are under the Invoice module. Is there a way to do this in creator? Eugene

Good morning, I have a list of client with a lot of details in it. In order to bring this list on the road with me I've done a dedicated view I called it contacts. This includes only name , complete address and telephone.When I print this contacts list , I got the record at the bottom record of the page wich is broken, continuing on next page. Retrieving data of mails sent above usage limit
Hi Zoho, I have an application that sent more than 1500 mails today. Just before my application started I realised that this was going to happen and I increased the number of mails to be sent daily to 2000. However, I think this was not established in the application itself I believe. I now try to retrieve the not sent e-mails from within the https://creator.zoho.com/showTaskLimitLog.do page. Importing data - linefeed issues
The data I want to import has lots or linefeeds in the data, but Creator incorrectly interprets these as end of lines. The linefeeds are used by Excel in multiline cells, ideally I needs some method to map these to multiline cells in Creator. Any ideas?

How to generate reports using search interface in Zoho Creator?
Hi, I am creating a patient record database for a small doctor's clinic in Zoho Creator. I have two forms: 1) Patient Info with information like Name, Address, Telephone Number; and 2) Visits with information like Name, Date of visit, Illness that day, Treatment prescribed. Each patient has one record in the "Patient Info" form, and one or more records in the "Visits" form. This is my question: I would like to create a report for each patient with their information and a summary of each visit.

Can anyone help me? This seems like a stupid problem but I'm stumped. Our accounting has to have SS numbers formatted with hyphens, but our users do not always enter them. Since creator currently has no input masking functionality (to correct format in user-entered phone numbers, serial numbers, etc), I need a work around. I've got no problem stripping out hyphens, dots, spaces, etc. to create a clean unpunctuated number, but I just can't figure out how to get the hypnens put in the correct places!

stateless forms - how to close the window once data is entered?

Create Working "Print this Record" button?

Is there a way to reprint one database record in a configurable format?
The records in my database (https://creator.zoho.com/lauriemetz/apr-database) contain around 50 fields that I need to print out in a pre-specified format. I can recreate this format in a word document or spreadsheet, but don't know how to populate those fields with a selected record from the database. Even if I could just print out the form that I created to enter the data, that would work, but whenever I access the application and select a record to view, it shows up in a single column format.

I am building a database using Creator and am close to finishing it up but one thing is still not clear in my mind. I can't figure out how to create a form to simply generate a report. This database is for employee performance and all forms and views are built. I'll try my best to explain what I need. All forms have static fields meaning the same fields in all forms as well as fields specific for that form. Changing Section for a form or view is not convenient
I created a application with more 50 forms/views. In "Customize>Rearrange Link>", it is very unconvenient and is unendurable for me to change the section for a form or view if I have more than 50 forms/views. I have a garden app that uses a "last frost" date that is always the same for each record. Can I put code in On Load of the form to auto populate a specific date into a date field. Other forms have lookups back to this form that fetch this date and perform calculations based on this date. Edit pane does not show all fields
My Form is working correctly and I can add new records however when I edit my form the entire right column is not visible to edit. Also any field I add in the edit does not save.

Can you cc: only users on your account? I am assuming so and that we can only use the adminuserid. If this is the case, I would like to send a copy of a form submittal to zoho.adminuserid but to only one of my users, not both of them. How do I do this? Hi, I am trying to use a stateless form to populate another database on creator. When a customer enters the data and clicks the submit button, the data is stored in the database. Import Data Error (on dates it brings 0009 instead of 2009)
Dear Sirs, I'm currently trying to update values in one of my tables and I see you have changed the import form where now we can select a file. However, when I import dates the values come either empty or the year is short because it says 0009. It doesn't matter if I use the new import method or copy paste. Automatic print after "Submit"
After looking through the Forum trying to figure out how do this I still cannot get this to work. I absolutely know nothing about HTML so therefore I am at a loss when it comes to doing what I'm trying to do. I have about 45 forms each with it's on view. best way to generate appointments for a scheduling app
Hi Zoho friends, I really need some suggestions! We are writing a small application to allow our clients to chose an appointment for massage. Appointments are always 15 minutes. We need a way to generate the appointment slots if we give the app a start time and stop time. We don't want to have to create each appointment manually! ;).
