Cross frame domain targeting.
Hi Gang, as you probably know a Frame cannot be targeted from the zoho.com domain unless the first frame referenced in the Frame was from the same domain, i.e. zoho.com So the easy solution is to include a Creator view in the original src of the Frame so that all subsequent loads will work. My question is: What is the smallest, fastest, Creator resource that can be used in this original Frame src? I'm using a empty view but it is not fast enough and a work around. We need a blank.htm or something

Hi all, I need to create a form like that: 5 dropdowns with 5 items for each one. for example: dropdown 1: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (if i select the item number 2 this item should not appear in the next dropdowns...) dropdown 2: 1, 3, 4 and 5 (if i select item number 3 this item shoud not appear in the next dropdowns... ) dropdown 3: ...remains the same Can anyone help me with a clear example?? Function code not loading in Edit mode

How to define the size of a multiline input?
I want to make the box (on the screen) larger for a multiline field. I see how I can do it with zc_TextAreaWidth & zc_TextAreaHeight if I were embedding the form in a web ap - but I'm not - I just want to change the look of my multiline box on my regular "form". Can it be done? Thanks
Defining a formula field that updates daily
Can anyone tell me under what circumstances the value in a formula field is updated? I would like to setup a formula field to calculate a value which is dependent on the current date. This in itself is easily achievable but what I need to happen is for the value in the formula field to be automatically updated each day. Is this possible?
Is it possible to concatenate fields when displaying information in views?
When I look at a view definition, I see a listing of fields from the form in the following format: field1name field2name as "[custom title for this column]" Is it possible to setup the view so that the content of field1 and field2 get concatenated into 1 field for display through the view? Thanks

how to export data from created db app
Hi all So I created a database app that I am hosting on my server... When I use it straight through zoho.com it allows me to export data to various mediums including excel...(which is where I need it to go...) However, when I embed it in my website, the view page does not have an option for export or anything... Am I doing something wrong or is there a button I may not have checked... Hello, i have created an application handlin a list of users and some infos about them. I do sound sendmail stuff etc. One feature i was thinking about to implement remains unsolved. I can#t find a solution: I would like to have a button per row (like custom actions) where I can generate a Single View of the Item in the List View. There is a subform issue now... To put it simply, using the meeting - meeting attendees application example: when adding Attendees, the Meeting ID does not populate automatically.. Please contact me for clarification if needed As the screenshot shows, the "add attendee" link on the popup form is not there. It used to be there. Lookup of Employee within the Employee form
I am building a form for entering employee data. One of the data elements on this form is for each employee, select an employee that is their Supervisor. The trouble I am finding is that it doesn't allow a lookup of Employee data within the Employee form. My only thought is to on input of an Employee's name have that data copied to another view (table) -- let's call it Shadow_Employee -- in Creator and then do a lookup of the entities in Shadow_Employee. The problem is, if both people have access to the same record, they can both edit it at the same time. Issues with upload fields
Hi all, We have 2 issues with upload fields: - Upload seems to work, but downloading the file (by clicking on the link) does not work. We have tried with pdf and word files, to no avail. I would like to have a quoting system for my web site. I envision a series of 4 dropdown menus. The client would choose a product from the first dropown. Creating Views Dependent on a Value in another Table
I am wanting to restrict a view based on the client who is looking at the view. I have 2 tables. User Table: This contains the User Name, Email and the Client Name View Table: This contains all sorts of fields including Client Name Any suggestion on how I would restrict the view so only records that match the Client Name are shown? Producing a new view that has a filter for each client is not very workable, as I will have to create a new for every new client. Glenn.

Creator view drops columns
Several columns that appear in a view disappear when the view is printed. The columns are "unchecked" in hide columns so that they appear briefly but there is no way to save this data. When the view is printed the columns are gone and the check boxes are blank. Plz advise. Thanx

Creator places the login in the URL of the application. This forces us to use generic logins so that our names are not in the URL. We set users to developer so they can develop the application and participate in the Forums with their natural names and not have to log in and out all the time. A. RadioButtonSet.Select() does not invoke RadioButtonSet.OnUserinput()
Hi, I have a radio button set. I'm using the .Select() statement to programatically select a radio button option. I'm expecting that when I do this that the code behind the radio button's field action OnUserinput() will be called. But this is not happening. Once I issue the .Select() how can I invoke the OnUserinput()? Obviously when I use .Select() I'm expecting that it would behave as though the user had selected that option. Any ideas or workarounds?
