Update list in form from script
I am having a problem updating a list field in a form from a script. This is not accepted by script builder myform.mylistfield.add("item") This fails on execution local_list = List:String() local_list.addAll(myform.mylistfield) local_list.add("item") myform.mylistfield = local_list Error is: Error occured while executing the script. So i have a few dropdown menu's all containing text and numbers but what i want to do is when the user selects one of the drop down menu's it add's the price of that item to the total cost and display's it. zoho creator edit record possibility
Hi, It would be very nice if we had the opportunity to limit the change or edit functionality of a record solely to the creator of that record. For instance: John Doe created a record. Now we would like to give him the opportunity to change his record BUT NOT the records of other people. Suggestion may be to add a field "restricted" in the edit area or on the individual record level where one can equal this to the emailadress of the creator. Problem with form loading
Hi, I have a creator application and for some reason one of my forms is not loading. The form title and the 'more actions' heading show, however the rest of the form does not load and the 'loading' note remain on screen until I refresh the page. All of my other forms and views (7 forms approx 20 views) are all loading no problem. Thanks! Rachel

Problem with hidden lookup field
If you have a lookup field with Checkboxes (multiselect) and it has an empty collection to load (there is still no data for it to load, no checkboxes to load) and you need to hide it when the form loads, this cause the form to freeze with "Loading..." message and loading of the form to fail. In the application I build, this kind of field needs to be hidden when the form is loading - but this it's not possible in the actual situation. My form is a stateless form. Validation does not work on my site
Hello I created a form and everything works when I test it your website but when I get the code to embed in my website the validation keeps giving an error. It says the wrong code was typed in and to please retype the correct code. However the code that I'm typing in is the correct code. The form will not work on my website. Hi, We've all seen the Ajax Popup Form, when we clicked add or edit on a List View. How about this Ajax popup feature given to us via script for our OpenUrl functions. This way we wouldn't have to worry about Popup Blockers, or about Closing the window when we're done. Two birds in one stone, and it's already been developed! How does it sound?
Envoking functions besides in a form or in Custom Actions
I haven't yet experimented with getting this to work. However, before I "commit" to building a full html view of a view I want to know if there ways of envoking funtions through an html form button or a html link... VS the normal way of having custom actions in your view. Any thoughts? Thank you for your help.

Ampersand in Application Title shows as &
I have an ampersand in my application title. The title appears correctly in the editing mode but the ampersand is shown as & when actually running the application. I can switch to "and" as a workaround, but I prefer the look of the ampersand. Thanks.

I did not see a relevant category for this posting... please forgive me if it is not accurate. I am trying to get an understanding of the "security" associated with my forms/data in Zoho Creator. I have seen the option to select for "https" under settings. Update Global Variable on record delete
Hi, Is it possible to run a script when a record is deleted from a view using the built in 'Delete' link? As far as I can see there isn't but I would be happy if somebody told me I was wrong. BUG? X Axis Title and Y Axis Title NOT recorded
The X & Y Axis Title on CHART VIEWS are not recorded when going from EDIT APPLICATION to ACCESS THIS APPLICATION and back. The values are lost are resort back to the defaults of "X- Axis" and "Y - Axis" respectively.

Newbie needs help (again!)
I'm embarrassed to keep showing up in the forum asking for help, but you people have been so great! I'm currently using a fairly simple form on my website to collect basic data and send an email reply. It seems to work correctly about 60% of the time, but several people have encountered "Please Wait" screens that seem to "freeze" their computers. group function in view not working
Hi, I tried created a view associated with a 'expense form', which records daily expense with 'category' field, such as oil, meals...etc. In that view, I select 'category' as grouping field. However, the pie chart still treats every expenses as individual records, not group by any category. Add data to form via email
Hi, I know that it is possible to email the form's data as email using input.formdata. Similarly, is there any way by which i can add data to the form via email (.. something similar to when we have excel sheet with same headings and upload it.. it automatically adds to the form's data) Please advice, Thank you, REgards. i've found that your creator apps work on the iphone, but if there was a way to tweak the layout alittle, this would make a pretty awesome iphone web app, it would also be nice to export the calender views to iCal.
My users see two applications with different dates, when there is only one
Some of my shared users see two applications when they log in - with two different dates. But there is only one application. And sometimes when I create a new view or field, they cannot see those changes despite refreshing. Whether these options are connected I'm not sure.
View Previous button not working
On a view after moving to the next page by clicking on the View Next button clicking the View Previous button does not move back. The Please Wait message does show but the screen does not change. The View First button does work. Herb Wexler

Is there script to delete an entry based on a time function? For example, if expiration_date = zoho.datetime, then delete current entry. This seems to require a timer job process running in the background.

Can't save script regardless of what I do
