Request Please
This is a great online project management tool. I prefer Zoho - but I have to use a different program for now and will need to move my items because I can't see how to make items 'private' within the company so that clients who have access can not see certain things. Also, I need a way for the program to automatically send (when selected) an email to people I choose when I upload a file so that I do not have to do that via email etc. That would be wonderful!
Task Descriptions
Hello, Our software platform development company has just started looking at using Zoho for our internal organisation. We really appreciate your products! Great work :) However, for handling very large projects, the task function is very generic, and difficult to organise with only the notes and Task titles. We would very much like to see a Task Description that would show beneath the Task Name. This would allow the user to detail what the task actually was, and then use the notes section for updates
Member online - showing the last onlinedate
Hi together, is there a chance to see, at which time a project-member was online the last time? You can see that he / she is online but not, when the last time was that he / she was online? Thanks in advance Thomas

He received an email to say he had been added as a user, but then immediately received one to say I had deactivated him.......how did I do that?? dmclarty
Language switch
Hi there, Just some cosmetics that could really stand to be improved: If you switch to another language the descriptions of tabs (milestones in dutch for example) are longer but the tab size doesn't change resulting in unreadable/cut-off tab descriptions. Same remark for milestones in reports graph view: unusable because milestone name might be longer then alotted space on y-axis of the graph. Just an improvement idea. sergeclaesen
Box.net integration
Zoho projects has an ability to upload files but when it comes to uploading many files and ease of handling them box.net is much better. Do you have any plans to integrate Box.net into Zoho Projects?
Custom Field for Costs and resources
this is probably one of those features that makes a difference: If we could have a simple optional custom field to introduce a possible cost (money) of a task within a project and another opticion to imput material and people resources for that task. This would give zoho project a big bonus for serious project management. You already have a Timesheet modul, is just to do something similar for costs and resources. Default User for Tasks/Notification to Administrator
Is there anyway to set up a default user for project so that a specific person gets added as responsible without having to drag the person over? Also, Is it possible to set up notifications that go to the owner/administrator, and not just the person assigned the task? Thanks.
Empty spreadsheet window
When I try to create/open a spreadsheet in documents section of Zoho Projects Safari (3.1.1 on a mac) blocks the new window. Firefox 3 (RC3) doesn't block it but it shows a blank new window. At the same time creating a new document doesn't cause any problems.
Reports
As a project manager I would really like to see reports that show a list of tasks for 1 user. So, say I want to see all the tasks assigned to John Doe. ddmartin
Group Projects by Client
I'm new to ZOHO Projects, and as I set things up, I realized it would be nice if in the project sidebar I could group projects by client company. As it is now, all the projects end up in the same list. I can at least reorder them, but every time I add a new project, I have to reorder the list again. Hello, So far I'm very impressed with ZOHO projects and associated web-apps. However, I have one thing that I'm really accustom to, but can't figure out how it works here, and that is: How do I associate an uploaded document (or one created with ZOHO Writer) to given Task Item or Task List? Slowing of loading in Zoho
I'm experiencing some noticeable delays in loading actions in Zoho projects and other products as well. Just wondering if anything can be done on my end to speed things up. Anyone else experiencing this issue with speed? I'm hoping that Zoho will be able to resolve this if this problem is server related or a problem on their end.
ALL USERS option
It would be very helpful for at least the administrator to see ALL tasks/Milestones for ALL users on one page to see who is working on what and when. Not sure how to do this currently without having to click on each project or click on one user at a time which is very time consuming tjmoore99

Hi I'm a bit frustrated by the document management features. 1) Can't sort by comment, only by filename (which is often arbitrary). 2) Can't search on comment 3) Can't sort folders by name, only by creation date 4) Can't create subfolders. Love the product generally, but this is all very limiting! Al al_collier
Calendar - "go to"/custom date and improved views
The calendar would be so much better with just a few changes. Right now, if I want to view a month one year from today, I have to click on the arrow to the right of the current month 12 times. Since the arrow changes position, it is even more frustrating. Would it be possible to choose a date to go to, or to choose a custom date range to view? Also, I agree with previous posts that it would be helpful to have day and week modes. kateed

Feature Request: Chat for Projects
Chat is integrated throughout Zoho, including documents. It would be fantastic to have it in Projects as well. As, a seperate feature, but connected feature. It would be nice if those could be automatically recorded (perhaps, as a forum thread). robcolburn

I want to confirm that the number of projects for each of the version is referring to the active ones, once one project is archived I assume it is not counting to the allowed number. Correct? acadarso

I am using your product for few days now and I am in love with it. Its like dream come true to have everything online. I would request you to add few more feature to your product. Time Tracking Tools
I work in the services realm as do most who care about time tracking. Anyway I really like microsoft business contact manager (BCM) because it automagically tracks email dialog with clients and has the ability to integrate with the microsoft account packages. The major drawback is that I must be at my machine to use it. So Zoho is an excellent and cost effective alternative but lacks some items that one might consider important. Does anyone have a tird party application that they are using that works
Timesheet list view by task with all employees as an option
I really need a timesheet list view by task with all employees as an option. My programmers enter the best notes on their timesheet entries. So it would be nice to look at a task and see whats been done. It would also be nice on the task view to see the total hours entered so far. Thanks, Matt
can not open - start a project
I am a Zoho user (trying Zoho Business), and I want to try Zoho project. I log in with my username and password, then when I start Zoho project it asks for a URL. I do not know what to put in this field. Do I need to sign up for a different account to use project? Thanks Rick
New user notification
I'm concerned that new user notification isn't working on my project. A number of people have never logged in, and when I've followed it up with them, they say they never received an invitation. I told them to check any spam filters etc, but they're still not getting them. With one person I've deleted him as a user three times in order to reinstate him and get an invitation sent out, and he's still never got it. I'm using exactly the same address at which I normally email him. If this was happening
iCal Items Different from "My Work Calendar"
The items in "My Work Calendar" are showing properly in my home page, but when I subscribe to the iCal version, it shows meetings for other co-workers. Please help! John
URGENT: NO DOCUMENTS IN MAILS!
Hi folks! I've just added a new document to a project and clicked some team members to be notfied. But! They received an email that contained the new file. Argh! We - and probably all others, too - use these spaces like zoho to share information in a closed group (beiing a non-free-member, I even get HTTPS) and then, this information gets posted to the web via unsecure SMTP. Is there a way to emailing or send a note to Users from the Dashboard, Tasks or in a Group? It would be convenient to communicate from various places in Zoho. Matthew Alex
managing schedules
It would be nice to have some more oversight on what people are working on overall (management dashboard). Also, if a new project conflicts with an existing timeline, there should at least be a warning message that the project overlaps with another project. tjmoore99

As a manager, is there a way to see a dashboard of progress for all projects on one screen? This would be helpful. Also, when we post a link under documents, it kind of gets hidden. It would be nice to have it show up whenever you click on the documents tab. tjmoore99
Private option in Zoho Projects
You guys have a fantastic project management/team management system here. I love it - even better than BaseCamp in some respects - like being able to add a date to tasks without the need to create a milestone. However, something that BaseCamp and other products have that I would like to see implemented in Zoho someday soon would be the option to make files and forum posts 'private' so that the company (not the clients) can see the information. Setting new Time Zones for different users
I need to know within ZoHo projects how I can set different time zones for different users. Came across an article written by GizzBuzz in 2006 saying the feature is not there but I am hoping by now it would have been introduced, but I am unable to find it. :(

It would be great if we can link a forum post to a task or milestone. I find I prefer to send along information on a project via the forum / messages - and it would be easier to keep track if they were linked like they are in BaseCamp. staffalacarte
Notes/Comments Section
Does anyone else think that the Projects dashboard should have some kind of Comments section where I can leave notes for my team? I can do it in the forum section, but then they disappear after a couple of days because the dashboard only tracks "recent" activity. I believe a Comments section, and the ability to personalize the dashboard section for your team would be very helpful. Thanks!
