Email notifications on new file upload?
Hi, I am not sure whether I am asking too much or not. But I am just trying my best to provide some feedback so that we can make this application much more stronger and better than the way it is. (No, I don't meant that it is bad or anything) Can we have some kind of email alert option for the clients? This will be very much helpful for the clients. I tried logging in to Zoho Projects today and only 1 of my 8 Projects is showing up on the left. Please tell me what has happened to the others? difference between IE and FireFox

Projects and Reports
Are their any plans for Projects Reports section to provide users a choice of how and what data is presented? There appears no way of obtaining either a bar graph/frequency measure summary of tasks that are not milestones. For example, if you create a template of repeated tasks, the actions will show up on the timesheet. But they do not show up on the Report section. It would be good if this could be done, and the user select a style of how he wants his Report to be presented eg. bar graph, pie chart,

I think that ZProjects already has a template creation function added. Is this correct? Can I, and if so, how do I make a template of the information below, that includes use of the timer for a tel.call log file?: *date and hour of call; *duration/length of time of call; *frequency of calls; *type of call-local/domestic long distance/international; *description/summary of call; *cost of each type of call; *contact/person spoken to; *next action.

Problem with Tag list - doesn't display all tagged documents
Having problems with tag list which says there are 14 documents in that category, it has a 2nd page link - but when click on it it says 0 documents. they show up in the main list of documents but not in tags How can I get more docs to display on a page or how can this be fixed Darron Thevarajah
Zoho Projects - With More Paid Plans & Update
We had few prospects asking for plans in between 20 projects & unlimited projects. In order to meet their requirements, we have introduced more paid plans in Zoho Projects. Two new plans 'Elite' (100 projects - $55 per month) & 'Premium' (50 projects - $35 per month) been added to the list. Disk space for Enterprise plan (unlimited projects) has been increased from 5 GB to 25 GB at the same cost $80 per month. Checkout the latest pricing plans. Projects log in/password procedure
I would like to log into Projects. However, I tried my username and password, but no luck. Also, the sign in doesn't seem to be suitable for individual users. Log in now reads: Organisational name Portal URL Admin e-mail ID I am hesitant in case I end doing something wrong, or it taking me an enormous amount of time for nothing. You chaps have any advice?

The milestones no longer re-order chronologically. I relied on this feature as the only way to organize the milestones, since there is currently no feature to re-order them. I wish we could re-order the milestones as you can re-order tasks on a task list. Anyway, I set the order by setting specific dates. But now, all of my milestones are a jumble and not organized by end date anymore. jkim90
New Document version could not upload - file content type mi
I've tried to upload a new version of a .jpg but keep getting a file content type mismatch. The file is the same name, same type. open ok on photoshop, so it's not corrupt. Any ideas. Darron Thevarajah dgt20

Zoho Projects
GREAT PROGRAM! Couple things that sure would be nice. In calendar, being able to drag a task to another day reschedules it. In calendar clicking on a task takes you to it's edit screen, not just to the Tasks & Milestones screen. Last one ... Be able to save a Task List as a template, or just being able to setup a General Task List and then copy it and all it's tasks would be fine also. bryan

Hey Zoho! I was wondering if you have any plans to integrate your software pieces. If you do this, you will kill Microsoft!! If I could use project manager, to assign a task to one of my users, it would be really cool if the task appeared on their to-do list in their Zoho Planner. Zoho Projects meetings could be tied into Zoho Meeting. Zoho notebook could publish to Zoho Projects and Planner and Creater. You get the idea I think. Feedback on Zoho project management
I think this is absolutely brilliant and have some ideas after I have been using it for 2 hours this morning. 1. Graphical Gannt chart would be useful showing dependencies over a timeline. 2. Inviting our partner network to partake in certain aspects but not all of a project would require more administration settings for privacy. Otherwise you have a very rich and functional environment to manage projects in a simple manner Cheers Jonathan jon

Attaching/creating an API for ZProjects?
I am not sure where to post this. So I'll try here. If I have read the explanations correctly, there are a group of people who build APIs, is this correct? These are things like a plug-in? I would like to know more about this - specifically, if I wanted a special function or collection of functions put together in a plug-in, what conditions would apply re. being able to request this or being able to do the building myself, and ownership of the intellectual property?
Changing Assigned Ext & Int Tasks
Hi, I would like to request a feature to move all sub-tasks associated to it's parent unit (ie the Milestone) to the appropriate internal/external community when the parent unit is changed. I still like that any task can be internal or external despite its parent unit affiliation. Cheers! mamartin

There is a major bug in Zoho Projects Forums. If you can't fix it very soon will, we will unfortunately need to move to a different service. The forum posts do not show up in order. This makes it nearly impossible to see which forum posts are replying to which questions. It is essential in any forum that the user can see the linear flow of the dialogue in sequential order -- or there is no point in having a forum. Are you going to be able to fix this? When? Forum Comments Now Out of Order Too
Hi, I previously posted re a problem with notes on tasks being listed in no particular order (making it difficult to follow a thread). Now I see the same problem with the time and date stamped Forum comments that are being posted subsequent to Forum topic posts. Not sure what is going on but I have comments from Feb 4th showing up both above AND below comments from Feb 5th in the same topic. Is this common? Buck

Maximum hours per timesheet entry
We assign some of our task to teams and then the team will enter there time for any given day. The problem is time sheet entry will only let us enter in a maximum of 12.00 hours on any one entry. This is what we get if we try to enter more than 12.00 hours. (Please enter Valid Time Ex : 0.23 (or) 2.06 (or) 10.10). I know we could split it apart into multiple entries for anyone day, but this is a hassle. Thanks
