special characters don\'t work in Zoho plugin
Hi, if I open a document in Word through your plugin that has special characters (ščđžćč) that work ok in the web version, I only get ? in Word. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Robert clarity
Application its own browser
I have never understood why this has never been created. Any zoho software, or any web2.0 software for that matter could truly bridge the gap for users who want local software. Zoho could install itself on the users computer but only as links like a normal piece of software. When I open zoho through the start menu, I would open a browser that would go to the zoho software but look like local installed software. Making or Modify Link to existing image erases the image
Repro (works reliably for me in Firefox 2): - With two Firefox windows open, one showing an image (URL ending in ".jpg") and the other showing Zoho Writer, drag the image from the other window into Zoho. * Observe: the image appears embedded in Zoho Writer's layout as expected. - Then, right-click the image and select "Make Link..." - Enter any valid URL and click OK. * Observe: The image suddenly disappears and you're left with a text hyperlink. > Expected: The image should stay and be linked. Unable to insert image
I'm trying to insert an image using Firefox 2.0 and I'm unable to. I can try using the Browse button or pasting the image URL in the field, but pressing OK doesn't do anything. I've disabled both AdBlock Plus and NoScript but the problem still exists. What's worse is that when I used IE 7 to insert an image, the Browse button didn't even open the dialog box to search for a file. I noticed there was an error on the page stating access was denied. Any ideas? cor

I'm wondering how often you back up all the user's data in Zoho Writer. Every 24 hours ? And do you have several servers in different geographic locations ? I could'nt find any information about these two important points. Thanks for the answers.

Tag 'folders' in left pane disappear
I created a few tag folders ('tag' > 'add to left pane') yesterday which worked fine. I've now logged in and all my docs are still in my account (phew!) and the tags are still applied to all the individual docs but there are no tag folders. DOC export: embed images
Hi, I don't know if this is a bug (IMO, it is) or "by design", but when I export to a Word DOC, images are not embedded (they seem to be linked, as I noticed from the behaviour and looking into the code of the DOCs), while they are embedded into RTFs and PDFs. They should be embedded in DOCs as well. Not embedding them defeats the purpose of exporting for offline use.
Cross-forum login
Hi, while my username/password works to log into all the forums (like Writer/Sheet/Planner/Projects etc.), and features like search or "View my posts" work across all forums, my login gets lost when switching from one forum to the other, so I have to login again. Probably has to do with different domains for the forums, but it still strikes me as odd.
Why can\' I sign up ?
Hi Tried many times. Just impossible to sign up ! When I click on Create an account nothing happens or a new security number appears. I tried with my 2 browsers Opera and K-meleon. Disable Back button

An issue
Really cool UI n an easy to use tool...But came across an issue that you already might aware of.. Whenever I login into it, an Untitled document is opened n focus has been set right over there n this disappears as well when the focus has been shifted to some other Doc.. it'll b better if we can focus on last viewd Doc or the first doc..Its kinda annoyin to shift de focus to my intended Doc each time.. line spacing
line spacing is poor.. If I import a word document and try to add a text, the line spacing of zoho is terribly different from word. This makes the whole editing unuseful. Sorry
Untitled documents
Hello, When I open Zoho Writer there is an Untitled document. The problem is that this Untitled document gets auto-saved. The next time I sign in, I get an new Untitled document. So I have to remove this untitled document. I think it is good to have this Untitled document, but it doesn't need to be auto-saved if there is nothing in the document. If I open an document before the Untitled document is Auto-saved, it is removed. But if I'm not quick enough, it will be there when I log back in. BTW I
Creating Folder
Ei, I wish to know how can i create my own folder for me to save my files? and everytime I create a new document, the line spacing is not single. i tried to set it to single space but its not working. Anybody who has the idea?? TaNX!!
Problem Posting to Blog
I made an entry and tried to post it to my blog. When I did so, it posted the entry over the heading of my blog and now I cannot remove it. How do I fix this? My blogging host (godaddy.com) is telling me that it's not their error and they can't fix it. I have tried to delete my blog and remake it, but the copy is still over the top of the blog and not posted as an entry. Any help would be appreciated. Posting metaWeblog API doesn't work with multiple categories
How's it possible for me to use metaWeblog API to post to my WordPress blog in multiple categories? I've tried numerous things like separating them with commas and making sure I typed them in exactly, but I can only seem to get it to work with a single category at a time. If it's not working, it looks like it'd be a bug. Please advise, thankyou!
Modify Link do not work properly
I have noticed that modify link work irregularly. If I first mark a link and clikc modify link the URL is missing in the modify link property window. If I on the other hand only right-click on the link and use modify link. The URL is intact but the Text from the document is missing. This is very unfortunate. Regards, Ola. olaaa

Add ability to link to an image without having to upload it
I don't see that this exists already: in Zoho Writer, I'd like to be able to push a button and specify an URL of an image already on the web. I know I can upload images, but that isn't useful when I'm blogging and the image is already up! I also know I can drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste an image in, but for people who aren't quite so savvy to do that, this would be helpful, since it's standard in many text editors, like TinyMCE � whose icons look like Zoho Writer's for some reason. :) Is this planned

Hello, Im testing this new zoho writer and im listing here my bugs as they are: 1) At first, when i registered a login, it says "register fail". But when i asked for a new password. Can't follow web links in Internet Explorer
If I open Writer in Firefox, I can follow my embedded web links by pressing CTRL - left mouse button, and the web page opens in a new tab. When I open the same doc in IE I can't follow any of my embedded web links. The only method which I have found is to right-click on the link and choose "Check Link". Any ideas?

History for everyone
Hello, I would like to see the ability for every participant to view the history of a document. Now it is only possible for the author of a document to see the history link. Also other links are not available link the export. An address book would be great to so you can make a group of users for one project and another for another project. If you have to share a document you just have to click the correct group. Sam

Hi, I'm in New Zealand which may not be a priority for you as far as service goes. I really love the idea of the Zoho applications but the service is too slow for me. This is really dissapointing as I would like to support the initiative. If you can speed things up I think you will get more people using it. Scott
