Action required: Reauthorizing your Google account in Zoho Sign for automatic cloud backup to Google Drive
This is applicable to users who have already configured automatic cloud backup to Google Drive.
Hi there!
Google has mandated reauthorization of all preconfigured third-party integrations to ensure only the necessary scopes are shared as an improved security measure.
Will this affect you?
If your Zoho Sign account is connected to Google Drive for automatic back up of completed documents, you'll need to must reconfigure the integration to continue using this feature.
Is there a deadline?
Yes. Google has specified a deadline of Feb 28, 2026, following which automatic document backup to Google Drive will not work without reauthorization.
What should you do?
The administrator who configured automatic cloud backup for your organization needs to perform this action.
- Visit Zoho Sign's dashboard, where an Action required to continue automatic cloud backup dialog will appear.
- Click the Revoke and reauthorize button.
- Your Google token will be automatically revoked, and you'll be redirected to the Automatic cloud backup page. Do not close your browser tab/window during this process.
- Reconfigure your automatic cloud backup settings.
- Click Save.
Clicking the Revoke and reauthorize button and then skipping the reconfiguration will lead to failure of document backup.
Happy signing!
Cheers,
The Zoho Sign Team
