Create & Update Zoho Vault Passwords via Zoho Flow

Hi Zoho Flow / Zoho Vault Team,

We’d like to request an enhancement to the Zoho Vault integration in Zoho Flow.

Current Limitation:

At the moment, Zoho Flow supports only the following  selected Zoho Vault actions, such as: 

Fetch passwords, Share passwords with users, Share folders with users etc.

However, there is no way to create a new password entry or update an existing password in Zoho Vault using Zoho Flow.

Requested Enhancement:

Please add actions in Zoho Flow to:

  1. Create a password in Zoho Vault, including the ability to set:Category, Name, Folder, Username, Password, URL

    We will pass the unencrypted password  and zoho flow will encrypt it for zoho vault
  1. Update an existing password in Zoho Vault (for example, rotating credentials or correcting details).

Why This Is Important:

  1. Password creation and rotation are core automation use cases.

  2. Many organizations want to automatically: Generate credentials, Store them securely in Zoho Vault, Share them with relevant users or teams

  3. Without create/update actions, workflows remain partially manual, which defeats the purpose of automation and increases the risk of human error.

Example Use Cases

  1. Automatically create Vault credentials when a new system, customer, or employee is onboarded.

  2. Rotate passwords on a schedule and update the existing Vault entry.

  3. Sync credentials generated by external systems into Zoho Vault securely via Flow.

Adding these capabilities would significantly strengthen the integration between Zoho Flow and Zoho Vault and enable true end-to-end security automation.
