Discover related products for contacts and companies with new topping

Greetings!

We hope you're all doing well.

We've heard your request for an easier way to view products associated with a contact or company—without having to open and go through every deal individually. To help you achieve this, we're happy to introduce the Related Products topping in Bigin.
This topping adds a new related list to your contact and company records detail view. Once installed, it automatically pulls products from associated deals into one clean, filterable view, right inside the record.

With this topping, you can now get a quick overview of products associated with a contact or company without having to jump between multiple deals.

How to install

Choose your region and click the corresponding link below to install the topping in your Bigin accounts from Bigin Marketplace:
  1. Install for US DC
  2. Install for IN DC

How it works

See all products at a glance

After you installed the topping, open any contact or company record and go to the Related Products section in the detail view.

Here, you'll find every product line item from every deal associated with that record. The list includes details such as product name, pipeline, sub-pipeline, stage, quantity, and amount, which provides you a complete view of the products associated with a contact or company.

Summarize by product (default view)

When you open the Related Products section, the products are in the Group By Product view by default, which means they're grouped by product name. The quantities and amounts are also aggregated across all deals. This makes it easy to get a quick answer to questions like:

"How many units of Product X has this company bought in total?"

For example, if the same product appears across multiple deals, you don't have to add up the quantities or amounts manually; the default view provides you with the consolidated numbers at a glance.

Switch to deal-level split view

Want to see the individual deals behind those numbers?

Simply switch to the Split By Deal view to expand each product line item by deal. This enables you to see exactly which deals contributed to the product totals, along with the relevant pipeline, stage, and sub-pipeline information for each row.

This is particularly useful when you want to move from a high-level product summary to the deal-level details behind it.

Filter by pipeline, sub-pipeline, and stage

Use the Pipeline tabs at the top to focus on a specific pipeline.

You can also use the column-level filters to drill down further by sub-pipeline or deal stage. This makes it easier to narrow down the information—for example, to separate products associated with active deals from those with closed deals, or to compare product activity across different pipelines.

With these filters, you can quickly move from a general overview to a more focused view based on your sales process.

Let's look at an example

Sarah runs a wholesale distribution business. Before a call with Bailey and Co., she opens their company record and checks the Related Products section. Within seconds, she can see all the products they've been quoted or sold, along with the total quantity and revenue for each. She can also switch to the deal-level split view to see the individual deals, along with their pipeline, stage, and sub-pipeline details—all without going through each deal separately.

We hope the Related Products topping helps you get a clearer picture of your customers and their related products, without the back and forth between individual deals.

Give it a try and let us know what you think in the comments section below. We'd be happy to hear your feedback and suggestions.

Thanks, and have a good day!
