Miss the LibreOffice plugin too. Use MS Office plugin instead?

I too miss the plugin for LibreOffice! Google Docs Writer is so lame and won't even let Zoho access .odt files clean to let you work on them in Zoho. Whatever the reason Zoho terminated LibreOffice plugin support, can't the MS Office plugin be substituted for LibreOffice with a little tweaking? I don't understand why Zoho is pushing LibreOffice people to do online documents on an inferior service! I would even pay a charge for this feature in Zoho Docs. Is it really that intense a maintenance issue for Zoho?
