We’d like to request the addition of real-time screen annotation tools during screen sharing sessions in Zoho Cliq video calls.

🔍 What We're Looking For:

The ability for the presenter—and optionally, other participants—to:

• Draw freehand using pens or highlighters

• Add shapes like arrows, circles, rectangles

• Insert text callouts directly on the shared screen

• Use undo/redo/clear actions

• Toggle annotations on/off as needed

🎯 Why This Is Important:

Zoho Cliq's screen sharing is solid, but lacks real-time interactivity. Annotation would:

• Enhance collaboration during support calls, trainings, and walkthroughs

• Speed up issue resolution by allowing agents to circle or highlight elements on the user’s screen

• Improve engagement during design reviews, brainstorming, or team meetings

• Match modern expectations—most major platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) already support this

💡 Proposed Features:

• Pen & Highlighter Tools – multiple colors and thicknesses

• Text Boxes & Shapes – arrows, circles, rectangles

• Undo/Redo & Clear All – intuitive annotation control

• Permissions Control – allow host to enable/disable participant annotation

We believe this feature would make Zoho Cliq far more powerful as a collaborative workspace—especially for support, training, and feedback-heavy workflows.
