Weekly Tips: Say Goodbye to Email Anxiety Using Undo Send

It is common to feel uncertain about whether our email draft is polished or if it is the right moment to hit send. Just when we think we have made a decision, we might accidentally send it or suddenly question whether we should revise the content again. It often happens in that split second after clicking the Send button. What if you could actually retrieve the email after sending it?

Here's where the Zoho Mail Undo Send option comes in to play to help you take control of your email communication. You can quickly revert your email back to your inbox in case you have second thoughts, ensuring you never send something prematurely.

Undo Send

The Undo Send option in Zoho Mail allows you to stop the sending process and retrieve the email, giving you the opportunity to review and make any necessary changes. After clicking Send, you have a moment—usually a few seconds—to click Undo, halting the email from being sent. This allows you to recheck the content, correct any errors, or even reconsider the tone or recipient of the email.

Enable Undo Interval

The Undo Send must be enabled in Mail settings to be used when sending an email. You can choose to set the Undo Interval from 5 to 30 Seconds.  To Enable, follow the steps mentioned below:
  1. Log in to Zoho Mail.
  2. Click on the Settings icon.
  3. Navigate to Mail > Compose settings.
  4. Under Undo Interval, set the duration for which you want the Undo option to be displayed after sending an email.
Once enabled, whenever you want to retrieve an email after hitting the send button, simply click on the Undo button from the pop-up banner. Your email sending will be cancelled, and the email will be available to you as a draft.
