Is there any way to compare 2 columns rather than just the latest and previous based on a date filter.

So for example I have Sales Value and Sales Target.

As part of the Widget I would like to compare the difference between these 2 based on the Year or Month filter. Comparing Latest and Previous is fine but only useful for date. I need to compare against my Targets and Forecasts
