We’re currently using Zoho Projects across multiple departments in our company (e.g., Marketing and Project Implementation), and we’re trying to figure out the best way to keep each department's projects and templates completely separate.
Here’s what we need:
Each department should be able to use Zoho Projects independently.
Teams should be able to create and manage their own project templates and views, without affecting others.
Most importantly, project visibility should be restricted by department — users in one department should not be able to view or access projects from another.
We tried using Teams and Project Groups, but unfortunately, this didn’t provide the isolation we need. Projects are still visible to users outside of their intended group.
Example use case:
Our Marketing team is using Zoho Projects for campaign planning.
Our Project Implementation team uses it to track client deployment progress.
These two teams should not be able to see each other’s projects at all.
Please advise on how we could achieve this on Zoho Projects.
