Hi Zoho Projects Team,
I am submitting a feature request to enhance our development lifecycle by enabling native GitHub Pull Request (PR) creation and management directly within Zoho Projects.
Context Switching: GitHub PRs are the most critical stage of a development flow. Forcing developers to switch between platforms to manage them leads to fragmented tracking and lost time.
Lack of Review Visibility: Project Managers and QA teams cannot see the real-time status of a GitHub code review (e.g., "Approved," "Changes Requested," or "CI/CD Failures") without leaving Zoho Projects.
Migration Barrier: In Jira, native GitHub PR management is a core, bi-directional feature. Engineering teams moving from Jira to Zoho find the current "passive" integration to be a significant workflow bottleneck.
Direct GitHub PR Creation: Initiating a PR on the linked GitHub repository without leaving the Zoho interface.
Reviewer Assignment: Selecting GitHub collaborators as reviewers directly from the Zoho work item.
Real-Time GitHub Status Sync: Displaying the PR status (Open, Merged, Declined) and GitHub review approvals directly inside the Zoho task.
Automated Linking: Ensuring every PR is permanently bi-directionally linked between GitHub and the Zoho Task/Bug.
Accelerated Review Cycle: Reduces the time from "Code Complete" to "Merged" in GitHub.
Enhanced Transparency: Provides stakeholders immediate visibility into the GitHub review stage.
Professional Parity: Positions Zoho Projects as a mature platform capable of supporting professional GitHub-centric engineering workflows.
Thank you for your commitment to improving the GitHub integration for developers in Zoho Projects.
Best regards,
Ram
