The single most important metric in most all subscription businesses is ARR (or MRR)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but currently Zoho Subscriptions provides no way for my to accurately report on either of these metrics. While it does have MRR, it seems that the calculation is based on previous historical data, and not the current point in time. Therefore, the reported MRR number is never accurate in regard to the current state of the business.
Put another way, ARR is typically the CURRENT value of all your active subscriptions for the next forward looking 12 months (while MRR is 1/12th of that). This number is highly used by most organizations to provide point in time valuations and revenue forecasting.
As it stands right now, there seems to be no way for me to see the current yearly value of all my active subscriptions. We have created a massively complex spreadsheet and customized export to do this manually, but it really is a bear to maintain.
It seems like an accurate ARR/MRR, representing the total forecasted revenue for all active subscription is a big missing component to Zoho Subscriptions.
Other than that, we love it so far!
