I am struggling with assignment rules. I am trying to set it up so that when a candidate applies to a job, the candidate owner field is set to the recruiter that posted the job. I don't see anyway to do this. The criteria picker has no accommodation for whom posted the job.
It only allows you to assign candidates by what are frankly useless fields- phone, e-mail, location, etc.
By default, I would assert that the candidate owner should be set to whichever recruiter posted the job in the first place.
I'd appreciate some guidance here. A design theme with Zoho recruit (macro rules, assignment rules, workflow rules) seems to be that it gives you every field you don't need, and none that you do. I believe this module-segregation is really hampering the product. Some architect needs a good butt kicking and/or course in query builder design 101.
