Can't see Sheets in Internet Explorer

I uploaded a single-layer Excel sheet, and it works perfectly in Firefox, both in Windows and MEPISLinux. But when I try to view it in Internet Explorer, whether in Windows 2000 or 98se, i get the green ZohoSheet links bar immediately under the browser's buttons, but the screen below that remains white. I'm using the latest version of IE available from MS for my operating systems. Javascript is turned on. Is there some other option I need to look for? I'd be happy to stick to Firefox, but I wrote the sheet to share with others, and they won't bother to load a new browser. Thanks.
