Creating new file in Writer's Offline mode

Creating new file in Writer's Offline mode

Hi,

I'm currently using Ubuntu and switching most of my work to web-based applications and to be honest, Zoho is a killer

However, is it possible to create new documents offline since my school's internet is not reliable.

I know the best thing to do is create a new file online and add things to it later but life would be easier if this was done formally.

If this hasn't been included, may I make a request for it?
