Custom pipeline

I was wondering if it's possible to customise the pipeline for one job opening specifically. I believe that any customisation to the pipeline is now applied to all job openings, however it would be great if the pipleline could be customised for one job opening only since the hiring process can change a lot depending on the job opening.
