I was figure these were implemented to support internal features, however I see it showing up on the application itself - I think it looks very unprofessional and it would be unclear to a candidate applying (as well as myself) as to what to put here.  Is there a way to hide it, or has there been a way for people to 're-work' these fields so that it says something else that would make sense to a candidate on the application?
