Embedding slideshows, charts, videos etc. in Writer Docs

Folks,

Its time again for another Writer tip of the day. Yes I am talking about this cute little feature of embedding slideshows, sheets/charts, videos etc into Zoho Writer documents. The slideshows, sheets to be embedded can be from other Zoho Services like Show, Sheet or any other external site. Moreover users can also embed videos into writer documents from sites like YouTube, Yahoo, Google Videos, Lycos to name a few. Here's how to go about the task:

Click on "Insert Html" button present in the 3rd row of editor toolbar and copy/paste the iframe or object code snippet from external sites into the text area that appears as a pop up on the editor screen. Click "Insert" button to have your slideshow/videos/chart embedded into Writer document.

Once they are embedded you can view them in the "Preview" or "Page View" mode by clicking either on the "Preview" or "Page View" link present in the first row of editor toolbar. Moreover any changes done to the sheet/slideshow gets automatically reflected in your Zoho Writer document.
