We would like to request the ability to conditionally ask for visitor details based on the communication channel used in Zoho SalesIQ.
Specifically:
When a visitor initiates a conversation through the live chat widget on the website, we want to continue requesting name and email address, since this information is necessary for follow-up communication.
However, when a customer contacts us through WhatsApp integration, we would like the option not to request name and email, as this contact information is already available through WhatsApp and asking again creates unnecessary friction in the conversation.
Requested capability:
The ability to configure visitor information forms dynamically depending on the channel (Website Chat vs. WhatsApp or other messaging integrations).
This would help improve user experience and streamline conversations by avoiding redundant data collection.
