Good move with Google's CR-48

I installed this with a slight glimmer of hope that I can start beta testing ChromeOS before they get it out on a live CD. However, after signing up for this, I'm probably going to ditch my OpenOffice and work straight from the cloud. I can open my documents on any computer and the interface is a hell of a lot cleaner than OpenOffice is. I would like to see some kind of feature like OneNote (I used it once and found it pretty decent), but overall, a nice interface, easy usability, and good safeguard against broken hard drives on the end user's part.
