Googlebot cant access my site

Sorry if this is a stupid question but after changing my CNAME record as prompted and setting up domain forwarding my http site now has a DNS error and it says Googlebot could not access my site.

My www site is working normally but i wasn't sure if the DNS failure was something i could fix or if it was normal with this kind of thing?

Also will it be harming my site in search rankings?
