Locking all the cells on a row together?

I'm using Sheet for a school directory. I'd like it to be searchable by different categories, such as name and grade level. But clicking the A-Z button only sorts one column -- so when I do this, the info for each student gets all jumbled! Is there an option like the AutoFit one in Excel, that locks all the cells on a row together so that when you click the A-Z sort button, the whole row moves?
