Mailing, Billing & Shipping Addresses

We encountered a big issue when we transfered to Zoho in regards to Mailing, vs Billing vs Shipping Addresses.  In our world these can be significantly different, whereby a customer is in OH, with thier manufacturing plant in TX, and Billing goes to a PO Box in IL.    Moreso, functionality of Google Maps is also limited to one of these fields, and restricted in others.   We didnt find this out until our sales force had no google map functionality on their mobiles, because we loaded mailing addresses into the accounts.

  I'd strongly recommend Zoho do the following:
1.  Create three basics address types:
Mailing  (with Mailing Street1, Mailing Street2, etc)
Billing (with Billing Street1, Billing Street2, etc)
Shipping (with Shipping Street1, Shipping Street2, etc.)

2.   Allow all three address types to be used in Accounts (any three types), Contacts (default mailing or any three) and Inquiries (default mailing), AND.....
3.  Allow Google Maps and Mobile to activate on either three types in Accounts, Contacts and Inquiries.
4.  Upgrade the "Copy Address" button in the Edit modes to transfer one of the three to the other(s).

Overall, we had to bastardize our Zoho to show "Billing Address" although they were not, so our sales force can use Google maps to find the Accounts.   This will cause us to not be able to integrate with Quickbooks as our next step, while confusing our people to enter billing addresses when they are not.      But this was the only way we could get this to work for us.
